Wow Joy.. that promotion will be such a blessing.. almost double the pay! Awesome! You will have to let us know how it goes today. With his training class being just an hour away can he come home to spend the night with you for your birthday? My husband drives and hour to work everyday...I hate it but the drive doesn't seem to bother him at all.

This weekend was AMAZING! For me any ways, I think he was glad just to spend the time with me haha

We didn't leave the room much, room service the first night. Went out shopping at this really posh mall just down the road from the hotel and spent way to much. And I let myself go at the Melting Pot, it was so bad but sooo good. He was so cute, kept feeding me little bits of this and that. Hes broke now, but I get paid today so we'll be fine.

He also might be coming back sooner! He has to schedule for a 4 day training so that he can get transfered to the sheriffs office here. If he can get that done then he'll be back to get out of the lease! The move will also give him a $3 an hour pay raise with plenty of chances for overtime.

More good news too!! My head is spinning, I swear. I was approached about moving to a new department at work...it would mean going back to school in the spring to start working towards becoming a paralegal! The company would pay for half of my tuition and I'd get a very hefty pay raise..twice! Once for starting the training and a second when I finish the certification.

I should have moved sooner! Life before I got to florida was pure hell but now everything is falling into place.

WE just received a call here at work from an unknown caller who threated to sexually assault 4 women at a church. Nice huh! Now I'm all creeping out! I called the police and they said they were going to go call the phone company to see if they could trace the call.. at least find out if the call even came from this area.

Wow, thats horrible....hopefully it was just some really sick prank call. I don't know why anyone would do that...calling the police was a good idea. I hope they find who did it.

I'm stuck making collections calls all afternoon. I wish I could just go home and cuddle more, I'm really going to miss him when he has to go home

When is he due to go back home? I bet you will miss him.. Christmas is far out there. TIme seems to fly by these days tho.

Hes leaving thursday night. I'm taking tomorrow off of work to spend with him but was told I can't miss any more for the next two weeks.

I start training to take up the legal position wednesday! My next couple of weeks are going to be chaotic, between learning something completely new and training my replacement. I'm currently over the research department, even though my official title is 'executive assistant'. Its one of those lovely catch-all titles :P
