Acai Berries?

I've been surfing the web looking for different bits of information on weight loss and eating healthy. Acai berries keep popping up on nearly every search and site that I go to. Of course everything seems very bias, all in very strong support of them and claiming it does wonders if you use a colon cleaner too.

Has anyone here tried this? I'm curious but very hesitant to try it.
