Totally agree with everything Leida said. I have come across this TIME article so many times whilst reading up on running and eating.
I find that when I have managed to drag myself out for a run, the last thing I want to do is eat but getting something down is the key to replenishing glycogen in the muscles (ready for the next workout) and staving off hunger later on.

Whilst I understand what this article is getting at, I have even experienced it myself, I'm not sure it's 100% true. A diet without exercise doesn't produce a strong, toned body that is more efficient at burning calories. Also, as much as it's awful sometimes, it's good for your body. So, even if it takes me a little more discipline to ignore the rumbling stomach and a few more months to lose those pounds, I'm not giving up the exercise any time soon.
