quitting soda

I stopped drinking soda for five days, drank soda for three days, and now I have been off soda again for four days again. Since I quit drinking soda I have been having some serious cravings for things with sugar in them such as desserts and that’s not like me. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any suggestions about them.
