Exclamation I'm always REALLY hungry after a good workout...

Does anyone know how to prevent or help this?

lol know exactly how u feel. i always tend 2 b hungry after working out(when i workout...lol) I know u probably hear it frome everyone but i'm gonna tell ya. but I always try n drink as much water as i can n that moment than sit down so u don't lose it all rite there...lol but after u get up I seem 2 b not so hungry.

I'll repeat it too, drink some cold water. It will help.
And if you're REALLLY hungry, then eat! Don't deprive yourself after a workout! After a workout if I need some nourishment I usually eat an apple or bannana.

You should try and plan your workout so that it's time to eat afterwards. But you should also eat 1 hours before so that you have enough energy to keep you going. Have 2 small meals or snacks. My friend (who's a super-fit guy) always tells me that you burn calories faster once your metabolisms going. I don't know if this is true and I'm not going to get a big mac (like he does) to check, but my personal feeling is that we should eat when we're hungry (several small meals a day) rather than when we think we should. Trust your body!

I try to plan to eat about 45 mins before and a few minutes after a workout. Then again my workouts are about 1-1 1/2 hours long so its only small meals.

*protein-not sure if your a vegetarian, but I can go longer when I eat something like fish rather than pizza
