Unhappy Stuck

So I’ve busted my butt and I’ve lost 33lbs since April. I’m super excited but now I find myself in a rut. I have basically stopped loosing any weight. I know that this happens a lot. People loose weight and then stop…my question is:

How the heck do I get over that bump and start loosing again??

Thanks!!

Try changing things up a bit with your exercise. Also, make sure you are drinking your water.

I've been @ a plateau for a long time. Part of it I believe is that I don't get enough water in. When I had gotten to my WW goal before I had a different job but could get a lot of water in as well as BR breaks. LOL. Now have a different job, so diff water intake. maybe make a food journal if you don't already to see exactly what you are eating to help you out.

Changing your exercise patterns can really help break your plateau. I went through one the first time I lost weight after college. I had been relying mostly on cardio and after a certain point the number on the scale just wouldn't really budge. So I bought a few strength training videos and sort of shifted my focus so I was still doing some cardio, but also doing a lot more strength training. After a week I started to see a difference on the scale again.

Congrats on the weightloss so far. I pretty much gained back everything I had lost after college-about 40lbs-so now I'm trying to start over.

Cheers,
~M~
