Default Cheating

(Not weight loss related)
If you are friends with another couple and know one of them is cheating with a co worker do you tell? I feel so guilty hanging around them.. What would you all do?

STAY OUT OF IT! TRUST ME!
Sooner or later, it will get found out without your help. This is coming from experience.

Oh, man...that is a tough one. If I was really good friends with the person who was being cheated on (and I was proof positive of the infidelity), I would most likely tell. I dunno though, it might make things really messy for you. I just think that if I was being played I would want to know asap so I could kick his a## to the curb.

I would just distance myself.....getting involved can be one of the worst things to do. I know you feel guilty but its really not your place. The truth will come out sooner or later.

That is a really tough question. The thing is, eventually it will come out that you know what is going on. How will you feel then, when the friend who is hurt by the news finds out that you knew all along? Put yourself in that position and try to gauge your answer that way. I hope you come up with the right answer for you, either way, so that you can find some peace.

I vote for staying out of it. I did tell a friend only she is not such a good friend anymore because she thought I was just causing trouble for her when I told her. However know the guy has cheated so many times on her that they are no longer together. It usually all comes out sooner or later so I would just be pleasant to them and wait for the outcome.

A priest spoke about this once and he said the best thing to do is to tell the other spouse that you know. So if you are friends with the woman, tell the man that you know. And give him an opportunity to change. That way your friend doesn't get hurt right off the bat.

I did this very thing when it happened to my friend. I told the husband that I knew and he denied, denied, denied. But, he changed his ways. Or so it seems. They are still together. I did this really for the sake of the kids.
And on another note. Alot of people say they would want to know. But really, they just may end up staying with the cheating spouse because he has a good explanation and you get burned in the end for causing trouble.

Stay out of it!!!!!! Nothing good can come of you saying something... Plus you never know it could be turned around and they can make you look like the bad guy... Try to distance yourself as much as possible from it...
