Default Sunburn

I made a boo-boo yesterday. I went to the beach, but didn't put sunscreen on my legs (I never get color there anyway). Now I look like a tomato, and I can barley walk! Any suggestions?

Mary, I'm so sorry to hear about your sunburn...I got burned on Sunday too...We went driving around for a few hours with the top down on our jeep and I was wearing a tanktop and now my chest is as red as a lobster.

My suggestion is Aloe Vera. Go buy a bottle and use it liberally rubbing it on as much as you want. The aloe vera will help the healing process and make the burn less likely to peel.

Also, make sure you drink lots of water today. Sunburns tend to dehydrate you so make sure you down the water today like crazy!!

Hope the burn heals soon!

they make this stuff, you can get it at any drug store usually it's blue gel stuff. I can't think of the namebrand but if you ask they will show you. It's made for sunburns and it has a cooling, numbing feeling..it is great! i used it a few times. it has aleo vera and this numbing agent in it.

Hopfully the doctor will be able to give you something that will make the swelling go down.

It's so important to remember sunscreen, even if you think you are going to be in the sun for just 5 minutes, it never hurts to put a dab on!!!
