Question Alli?

I just saw a commercial for a new diet pill that's FDA approved called Alli. Anyone know anything else about it?

Hi! If you go to myalli.com, they have tons of information on it. I guess it's a low dose version of xenical, which is a prescription weight loss pill. It blocks a percentage of the fat you eat, but the only problem is, if you eat too much fat, (and by too much, I mean more than 15 grams per meal), you get embarassing side effects such as loose bowels. I have not taken it, however I have done a lot of research on it. I am very curious, but nervous.... lol

Alot of those pills are scams. I would be very weary of anyone who tell you that you can lose X amount of pounds in just a few weeks!

Is anyone here going to try ALLI? I think I am going to try it on Friday, when it comes out. Hopefully it helps!

Hi Kathy! I actually have tried it... today's my third day, and so far so good! I think it helps me eat healthier because I know if I go over the fat allowed, I'll experience bad "treatment effects". I haven't weighed myself yet of course, since it's only been 3 days, but I haven't had any bad side effects. I'll keep you posted! Also, I paid $49.99 at walmart for 90 pills, they sell it at costco for $68ish for 150 pills! Which is a better deal but I don't have a costco near me and the shipping was too long for me to wait!

HI!!!
I AM ALSO TAKING THE ALLI PILL!!!
soo far, i haven't had any treatment effects (thank God). It does make you really cautious about what you eat though!! my only concern with it, is that almost everything you buy is nonfat or lowfat! so, i'm not sure what the pill is blocking? to me, its looks like im concentrating on the calories more than the fat. i dont know. i guess, ill just have to wait and see what happens. if anyone else out there is taking it, let me know!!!

I am also using Alli.. My Dr and I talked about it a couple years ago, but I couldn't afford the price of it since it was a prescription..

It's been available for years and it's not a lose weight quick type thing..
