Re: Alli?
I just started taking Alli last night - and I think the incentive of avoiding the nasty side-effects is a big part of why it's successful. It is FDA approved, it used to be a prescription drug but now is available over-the-counter. I bought mine at Wal-Mart too - they have a "starter pack" with lots of information, and you get a web-site code to register on their web-site which has meal planning & nutrition trackers. Someone mentioned on here also the vitamins, they do tell you that the pill does block the absorption of some vitamins and therefore they suggest taking your multi-vitamin at night. I currently take a 3-times a day woman's vitamin that I'm supposed to take at mealtime - so I haven't figured out yet how to work that. But check out my blog as the weeks go by - HOPEFULLY there'll be some good news since I've been stuck for a long time now after gaining back some weight I had lost. I'm curious for updates from all of you who have been using it longer than I have.
