1 I cant WAIT to go into a store and just pick up anything I want without worrying about what bits to cover up. 2 I can't wait to bring my knees up to my chest with out my belly being in the way.3 I can't wait to sit down on a chair without flinging my arm over my belly to hide it. 4 I can't wait to wear a bikini and know I look GOOD. 5 I can't weight to look at a photo of my face and not see jowls and double chin!!! oh and there's many many more than that too but just writing these down is so freeing and positive

Great post!

1. Wear shorts in public without feeling self conscious.
2. Not have my thighs rub when I walk.
3. Feel pretty and confident in anything.
4. Look forward to having my picture taken again.
5. Feel like a success because I worked hard and met my goal!

ah, great thread! thinking about this will help keep me focused/motivated

1. look good in a wedding dress
2. shop on the missy side of the store, instead of the plus side
3. not having to wear a body shaper under my clothes, just a plain 'ol bra!
4. be able to look at my reflection (anywhere i go, store windows, mirrors, etc) and not feel bad about it!
5. feel like people are looking/talking about me because i am beautiful, not because i am fat!

1. Not hold myself back for lack of confidence in my appearance
2. Begin taking a martial arts class.
3. Recover from surgery on my legs quickly/ if I have it (I have a leg condition.)
4. Go on a road trip to the Grand Canyon, and hike into it/around it.
5. Walk across the college graduation stage knowing that I have achieved things both academically and physically.

I've been thinking hard about this but I'm pretty sure I have it figured out.

1) I want to be able to run without feeling like I'm going to die
2) I want to feel good about the way I look
3) I want to forget the meaning of morbid obesity!
4) I want to be able to shop in a normal clothing store
5) Lastly, I want to be able to wear a bathing suit to the beach and spend my time enjoying it - not worrying about how ugly I am.

I thought long and hard about it, and the only thing I really can't wait to do seems to be:

Nothing.

I can't wait for a day when I can comfortably do absolutely nothing in terms of maintaining my body. No food log, no measuring food, no excersise, no worrying about food & activity balance, no managing hunger, no doing chores to keep busy.

I want a day of Great Nothing, like my body doesn't exist. My family doesn't exist. My job doesn't exist. Even my hobby doesn't exist. My banking account doesn't exist. Things I want to read or watch do not exist.

I just want to spend a day laying in bed in a room full of pretty things and flowers, or maybe outdoors, by the sea shore or whatever, and not being terrified that I am wasting my time, and worrying about some thing or another. And I want someone serve me foods, make a bath for me, oil my back, and preferably doing it out of love.

I don't think I will ever get it. My husband is not that kind of a man (he'd whine in paradize), and I do not see myself aquiring a wealthy lover in this life.

I think you should give yourself your day of doing nothing! Go ahead the world will still be there the next day!

I am thinking of this five things I can't wait to do. I can already do some important thing like take care of my own personal needs again. that is a relief.

I can't wait until I can buy a new bra. lol
I can't wait until I can justify buying and wearing a new pair of jeans.
I can't wait until I can stop looking for the biggest of something to wear.
I can't wait until I can walk without panting.
I can't wait to not be in the morbidly obese set!

I think I have been very fortunate that my size has not stopped me from doing the things that I want. I haven't had to deal with the pain of not being able to find clothes or anything, and no one has ever really bullied me. I'm not really large enough that people would consider me "fat"...the most I've been called is "chubby." So it's been hard thinking of things that I can't wait to do, because I haven't had to wait at all.

Still, I would like to be able to wear a bathing suit to the beach. Just a bathing suit. No cover up to hide my legs and no worrying about what I look like from all angles. I would also like to not feel awkward in a dress, or be so worried about the length and cut.

That's about it for now!

I am glad you are doing something now so you won't have to experience not being able to do things.
