Default Sweet potatoe or Yam??

Okay buddies I am reaching out to you on two subjects.
First I can not figure out the difference between a yam and a sweet potatoe. Are they one and the same? or are they different? If they are different can somebody describe to me what they look like inside and out so I can check it out at the grocery store. Thank you!

Second, what does anyone here know about a balance ball for workouts? To make sure that I am thinking of the correct thing...Is a balance ball one of those big huge rubber balls that I see people working out with on t.v. and at the gym? I am asking because I want to get one to use at home but the only thing I have seen done with these is people laying on the ball either on thier back or tummy and lifting weights....Is their more that can be done with them other then this? Thank you!

xoxoxo
Becky

I\'ve often pondered the yam/ sweet potato dilemma myself, so I\'m not one to answer that question. I\'ll eagerly await the answer.
As for balance balls, your description sounds about right. There is much more to do on them than laying down and lifting weights. Check your local store or library for ball workout DVDs... you\'d be amazed how many there are! Another tip is to put your balance ball at the desk and use it as a chair. This will constantly work your abs, strengthen your \"core\" and improve your posture and balance.
