Any Jewish buddies ? I need some help!

So, I am Christian and my daughter wants to celebrate Hanukkah as well as Christmas this year. Since I am open to anything, I said no problem. Problem is, other than the menorrah (sp) and latkes, I don't know very much about the holiday. Does anyone have any kid-based ideas I can use to celebrate Hanukkahl? This would be like a Hanukkah for Dummies since she is only 7 years old. So any advice, suggestions, or simple recipes would be GREATLY appreciated. I'd rather get information from people than "The Internet" any day!
