To my schock the last time I went to Joey's I ate 70 points worth of food and drinks (I am allowed 28 a day). So now I know I am going to Milestones next week , so I printed the menu with points for us (my girlfreind is also on WW) so hopefully we will do much better. I hate having to plan ahead but I think it does work . I wish I had freinds that would rather go for a hike than to restaurant for food.

There is an alternative, last year when I was doing so well, I would eat before I went to the restaurant and just order a dinner salad without dressing and brought my own so I knew how many calories were in it.
Also earlier this week I posted (it was on the lost pages) that I went out with a friend and ordered a salad and ordered a grilled chicken breast, I maded sure they didn't use any oil or butter on it. For dressing I used wine vinegar and asked for a small bit of brown mustard in a bowl. I mixed the vinegar with the brown mustard and a tad bit of water and tossed that on my salad. It was a 6 pts.

Hey all!
Not much going on, did some core work today and got in a speed walk and LOTS of tea! Abnormal psych due today but got it all finished except for a discussion which I am having a hard time keeping my mind on. Today a local family lost their baby to cancer, she was 9mos when diagnosed. Feel so bad for them and ticked that only 3% of cancer funding goes toward childhood cancer when it is the #1 killer of people under the age of 20.
Rambling............

I would be so lost if I didn't plan ahead. Especially if I went out to eat. that's great to know the points of the menu before hand.. sheryl had a really good tip for eating before you go and getting a small thing while you are at the restaurant. ive done that before too

Jennifer I can not plan ahead of time, because I do not know what I will feel like eating that day. I will just print the points for the whole menu and decide once I am in the restaurant.

I have to complain, my husband is on a cooking streak and his latest thing are deserts. We really never bothered getting desert after dinner, but now he makes special once and it is hard to tell him I do not even one to try it. The problem is once I try it it is so delicous I eat the whole thing . The only lucky thing is he only does it on Sunday.
