Ooh, another thing...I saw a commercial for the LapBand surgery, and the woman in the commercial took 3 years to lose like 60 or 70 lbs. She could have done that without surgery. What's the point if you can do it by just practicing healthy...practices?

I agree Tink, but I think some people just need that "aid" to say to themselves that they CAN do it. But there are so many risk in doing any kind of surgery. The thing is, as we all know, losing the weight is so much more than just eating healthy, it is about changing the way we think about food and about OURSELVES, THAT is whats going to keep the weight off

Well, mine isn't as good as it has been the last two weeks BUT I am VERY happy with it. The last two weeks was re-losing weight I gained so I knew it would come off easier. BUT this week it is all FRESH FAT GONE
1.6 lbs gone, gone, gone, hopefully for EVER!
Oh, and I noticed the body fat % is down on my scale by 2% so that means I have gained some muscle. 1.6 lbs isn't going to give me that 2%. So, my new exercise routine is working!! Six days a week for 3 week now and this past week I have worked extra hard

I am really disappointed but I maintained this week. I was REALLY hoping to get to 50lbs loss this week but didn't make it. I can't same I am surprised, I figured upping my calories would have an adverse effect at first, TOM isn't helping either.

Hello all. I weighed and actually maintained my weight this week. I have been doing ok and have been trying to get on a walking schedule, but I also just got back from my brother the stationary bike that belonged to my mom so, I am gonna hop on that here in a bit.
Sorry I didn't help the team by losing any, but I am hoping to get more active this week.

Tobey, don't give up on those extra calories. You body is adjusting. I think you will be fine next week. and besides a Maintain is still a good thing
