Congrats HBRs!

I got my own NSV today! I went shopping with my mom at Lane Bryant and I walked in the door wearing some VERY baggy jeans - size 34. I tried on and fit a size 28 pair, and I even was able to button up and zip up a size 26. (but they looked pretty bad). I decided to wait and buy new jeans until that 26 fits right. I did come out with a couple of pairs of "Scooter" style shorts - one in a 26/28 that I"m wearing right now and one pair of 22/24 that I could wear, but they weren't all that pretty on me yet. I will wear them to the gym - and the smaller size in another month or so when they fit. Yay!!! I also wore my leather coat out today (it was cold!) and it buttoned up and fit just like it did when I bought it. Today was the first day I could REALLY tell a different in my clothes. Woop Woop!

I went to Lane Bryant too to buy some bras, since none of mine fit anymore. I'd been wearing 38-40 B/C.. she measures me, 42 D No wonder my bras fit so poorly.


Hopefully I'll be able to buy some new ones in a few months too!!

When I was checking out the woman checking out beside me also gave me a $25 off coupon, which took me UNDER budget for my bras-- so I got a book I'd been wanting to read, too The Omnivore's Dilemma-- Tracing foods of today back to their source. It's really interesting so far. It talks about (at least at this stage) how nearly everything we eat comes from corn.
