I did beautiful meat stock this weekend (pork bones and stweing beef as the base), so I am going to go with a hearty soup.
I think from what I have in the fridge, I'll go with snow peas, dry shiitakes, red bell pepper, carrots and tomato, plus barley for starch. And onions of course, lotsa onions!
For dessert, I am making chocolate bliss cookies with macademia nuts for the Saturday's housewarming party, so 1 cookie each (stockpile the rest!!!), with a side of canteloupe and yogurt. Or, maybe peach on the side? We'll see if they ripened

I wish I had strawberries, that would have been absolutely *perfect*. Hmm, maybe I should pick some on the way home....
