I think I "phoned" it in with Jillian today It wasn't a good workout...I tend to do my workouts in the morning, but today I decided not to go to Curves because I did not want to hit all of that vacation traffic. (I am not the best driver, lol)
So I decided to workout with Jillian and Pilates and any other things I could put together. But the entire workout my stomach killed me! (TOM and I had cramps) which I didn't realize until I finished my workout.
But because of that I wasn't able to put all of my energy into it. I thought I felt sick because I was going to lose my lunch...and I was wondering why I felt crappy after eating lunch when Nancy says to eat something to fuel your workout...
so yea bad workout
I will feel better Monday though and be able to put all of my energy into it then!

RESET YOUR TICKER!!!! “Go 100 Miles” Challenge

Our fitness challenge for 6/12 to 7/12, is something we were inspired by Bobbie on. We will start, each of us, to go 100 miles. You can do it any way you want… walking, running, biking, swimming, DVD workouts at home, circuit training, kickboxing, pilates, yoga.. whatever you want! Now if you’re one of the lucky ones and workout at the gym, where the treadmill or stationary bike tells you how many miles you’ve gone.. AWESOME! If not, we have a way to clock your miles… Nicole! That’s right! Nicole has a handy-dandy gadget at her disposal that can help you calculate your miles. For starters, if your exercise is walking, at home DVD’s, or classes of any kind.. you can use this easy mathematical equation… 15 minutes of exercise = ½ mile on your journey. If you’re a pedometer wearer and want her to, Nicole can take the number of steps you’ve done, plus it in, and give you your mileage! If you need her to calculate your miles for anything please let her know.. email her direct! For walking, she will need the duration that you walked. Went grocery shopping and walked around Walmart for 2 hours? It counts!! That would be 2 miles of walking! Now if you are a runner/jogger or bicyclist, Nicole will need your duration and either your heart rate and/or average speed (if you know it). So basically, if you’re not sure of your miles, email Nicole!!

I've been having a stressful week but I think I am handling it better than I normally do. After my little gain earlier this week I'm happy to say, I did make my goal. I wanted to lose 2.0 and I got 2.3 pounds. Whew!

I am cutting down my workouts for this week due to leaving town for Dallas for my uncle's funeral. Riding in a car for ten hours with my mom & aunt (twice in three days) will be pure insanity. Plus I realized that I am starting to get addicted to losing weight and its stressing me out too on top of the other mess. I'm going to regroup and get focused again on just getting & staying healthy and the weight will come off. I don't want to trade one addiction for the other.

If you didnt catch my blog, I will be missing in action this week. I will try to answer messages and make attempts at catching some blogs. I have a test on Monday that I am stressing over, I leave for the funeral on Tues, I will miss three days of school so when I come home I will be teaching myself the lessons just off of the notes (luckily my teacher will email those too me) because I have another test that following Monday and then finals the same week. I will be so glad when school is over!

I did make all my goals last week and then some.

Exercise goal:

Just do something. I dont want to focus on a specific number of anything.

Nutrition goals:

Don't pig out while I'm away from home. Stressful eating is not an option.

Mental goal:

I want to find peace of mind. No explanation needed.

I'll try to check in. See ya later.
Great job on your loss. You are going thru a hard time. Just do the best you can. Good luck on your tests.

Unfortunately we lost a few people this week. We lost Jane, Brihanna and Maya. We have two spots open. The other one I have to confirm with the person on the waiting list.

Will miss you all!

However, with my promotion, work has been hectic and with my already hectic lifestyle and family to take care of, I've had to pick and choose my priorities: BS wasen't one of them. I'll still be on here, but can't be as supportive as I could potentially be; therefore, I've given up my spot as a member to someone more active and deserving of it. When things settle down by the end of August, I'll get back on the waiting list - if needed be.

Other than that I've been overwhelmed with e-mails so I'll recap quickly on how I've been doing. Other than plateau'ing for almost 4 weeks, I hung on tight and lived through the hell of not having a scale. I've lost weight and will continue updating my ticker as time progresses... 41 pounds is good. Life is good to me (even though I am broke, lol) I'm in a happy place now.

Eating has been wonderful, I must admit that I've eaten at Subway twice this past week, but a 6-incher on brown bread with fat-free dressing wouldn't at all be considered a cheat.

I wish you all the best of luck, and hope you can all stay determined and focused this summer -- and not gain!!! BBQ season is a killer for some!
We will sure miss you! Please keep in touch!
