Default MJ's Ten Week Challenge: Round 2: Last Week!

Wow, here we are, heading into week #10 of our 10 week challenge. Our final week will run from Sunday, June 28th, through Saturday, July 4th.

What is your goal for this final week? Looking over the past 10 weeks, where are you now compared to then?

Oh, and a question to think about this week: our group has dwindled down, and I was wondering if anyone is interested in another ten week round? I would prefer more structure and need to brainstorm what that would look like, maybe a points-based challenge but nothing too crazy.

My weekend has been pretty good. I didn't work out on Friday, but today I got up early and went walking, and I alternated walking with jogging.

I saw a commercial for Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer DVD set. Has anyone tried those? Kinda expensive, but I really like P90X, so I'm tempted to give it a whirl.

Well, I managed to to screw up I worked for so hard within only two weeks. I have to find a way to get back on track 100%. Don't know yet if I try it step by step or jump right back in full force.

I would love to have another 10 weeks challenge. I need these challenges, I need buddyslim...staying away didn't do me any good. I need accountability and somebody that kicks my butt if needed I like the idea with the points. Somehow getting points works better for me. It gives me the extra kick to convince myself that I have to do it.

I never tried Tony Horton's 10 min trainer DVD and don't really know anything about it. I heard a lot about the P90X and it seems to be a great program. To tough for me I think. Plus isn't he using those hanging bars for the doors? I wonder if they can be trusted.... I have wooden frames around my doors and wonder if they wouldn't break
I will be checking out the Tony Horton DVD's so I know what it is all about.

Have a great week everybody

P90X has some great workouts, some are really boring to me. Cardio can't be in a do this, repeat 45 times format for me like weight training can! I am starting over and was looking for something motivating and fun to get back into shape to do P90X again

I have been extremely inconsistent and it's like 1 step forward, 3 back. It's discouraging and frustrating, because I feel like I want so bad to be back in shape!

Hey Ladies,

I can't believe it is already the last week! Well since we first started I weighed in I believe at 150... so I have lost four lbs since then. The only thing is that I have been doing this yo yo thing. Up two down one... up one down three. It is kind of frustating.... I mean if I was trying to maintain I would be a professional. I just really want to get these last 8-10lbs off and tone up my body. Well I would love to have a new ten week round... the only thing is that I need the points system. It really helps me stay motivated. Have a great monday!

I'd do a points based challenge with you! It's tough though... to get it done without it either getting too crazy or too boring. I didn't have much brain power to devote to the thought process it involved. LOL I'm sure you'll do much better though! I can't remember where I started 10 weeks ago... This is one of my major problems with setting long term goals. Short attention span! I remember something about smaller waist and more toned arms, and I wanted to be in the 120's. Waist is a bit smaller, arms a bit more toned, and I'm on the verge of the 120's (131.5) so I might break through this week, MAYBE! So I didn't totally waste the last 10 weeks, but I'm definitely NOT where I pictured myself.
