I have a question for everyone. How did you decide on your goal weight? I have chosen 149 for my goal weight. I have been messing around this morning trying to figure out my ideal weight using BMI charts. According to the one here at Buddy Slim I will not be at my ideal weight until I reach 145. According to the site I go to for my Zig Zag diet plan it says I will not be my ideal weight until I reach 148. I am not going to worry over a few pounds, but I was just curious on how you decided your goal weights.
I hope you are all having a super day!

I decided in my goal weight based on BMI, to be in the "normal" category I need to be less than 150 lbs. My Dr. had said if I could just get to 180, I'd be in much better shape. I'm just going to see how I feel when I get down mroe. I've some pants I bought that are my "goal" pants-- size 10.

I came up with my goal weight based on both where I want my BMI to be and the "healthy weight range" for my height. I know that with my build I should be at the upper end of that range not necessarily the bottom. But as I get down closer to my goal I may revise it, but that is how I have come up with it for now.

Good morning Buddies. I am up early getting my Buddy Slim fix. I am feeling down this morning. I am so tired of struggling financially with me being out of work. Today I have to hopefully postpone paying a few bills. I hope we can do it or I don't know what we are going to do. Plus something happened to our blazer on Friday. Hubby thinks it is the transmission! Hopefully it is only a line and not the whole transmission. You know the saying when it rains it pours. I am determined that I will not let this get me down. I will just come on line for a Buddy Slim fix!

On to a happier note, my scales are moving down once again. Yea!

Hope you are all having a great week!

Bette Jo sorry to hear about your troubles.

My hubby makes me furious because I know we have $1,000-$2,000 to pay off on credit cards, and what did he do last week? Got a WalMart credit card and bought an HDTV! I could kill him.. but I know anything I say won't make any difference on the matter. Ugh. :< It's a good thing I'm working now, too.

Sorry to hear that you have such a tough start for the week. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's not the transmission and just something tiny and easy (and cheap) to fix. Hang in there girl, it won't rain all the time. The sun will shine for you sooner than you think! ((HUGS))

Oh no, what was he thinking? I am going out on a limb, but let me guess...he wasn't thinking at all
My ex used to be that way to. I had three job, didn't know how to pay the bills, couldn't sleep at night, and here he came with a new stereo system for his car. I am so glad that I don't have to deal with it anymore. My hubby and I decided from the beginning that everything that has to do with money will be discussed first and decisions will be made together.
Well, I guess the only good thing is that your exercise videos have a better pictures now and hopefully that will help you.

I didn't have a system. I just think that is a goal I can reach. I would love to lose even more but I didn't wanted to put my goal to high and be disappointed if I don't get there.
