My hubby has a job interview in the morning.... please buddies, pray for him. I know he worries about us, he's been out of work since June and we are barely making it. Living on 713.00 a month SSI and whatever he can make doing 'handyman' work is scary. Thank God for our son and the fact that we can live here in our motor home rent free. I used to feel bad that we had to sell our home, but now I realize how unimportant that was... as long as we can survive and be together.... I just hate seeing him so worried and trying to hide it from me. He acts very calm about this interview, but I know he isn't. There aren't a lot of jobs here, it's such a small town, but he has been driving into Eugene doing part time jobs and it's 70 miles round trip and you know how expensive gas is.... also I worry because he doesn't have any medical insurance... ok, that's all. Thanks for listening, and thanks for your prayers. It does help to get it off my chest. Why is it so hard to lose weight when I'm worried? You would think it would kill my appetite. No such luck.

Well, John had the interview. He said four different people interviewed him and he thinks it went well. They told him he will hear from them Friday or Monday. So...... please let it be good news, and I prefer Friday if at all possible. lol Otherwise it will be a looooong weekend. I have not soothed my jangled nerves with food today... and I have choir practice tonight so I should be able to continue with being in control. I will make it through this without 'crashing'. I will just think of it as a test. (if I manage to pass this test I will give myself an A+) Thanks all you guys for your prayers and positive energy. ooxx

Ok, I need some stress relief! Work was so bad today! I am so stressed out tonight and I couldn't go for a walk when I got home due to getting home at like 5:30 and then having to make dinner and correct all the papers I had to do. It was also raining today and miserable! I will get back to walking tomorrow. I just had a really rough day today and I needed to come on here and see how all my wonderful buddies are doing. I hope that tomorrow is calmer for me. I can't take another day like today!My eating has been good, and my water intake good as well! I finished off 3 bottles of water everyday this week so far. I have one more to go for today, I was having difficulty today with my water due to being so busy and so cold (man the weather is changing here).
Well I hope you all have a great night. Right now I am going to go crash on the couch for a few minutes before I correct some more papers. Pray for me that tomorrow will be a better day!

I'll hold you to it. And in return I'll pray for you tonight... I'll be in the choir loft at practice, you know those are my best prayers. I hate hearing that your job is causing you stress. I know how much you love teaching, so I know it must be bad to make you miserable at work. Not being able to get out and 'walk it off' just makes it worse, I'm sure. I'm thinking of getting a Richard Simmons video... dancing to the oldies, is that what it's called? Anyway, I may not be able to keep going to water aerobics due to the price going up from 35.00 to 60.00. I still have some classes paid for, and when the weather is not too bad I can still walk..... but this winter may present a problem. I don't have much room here, but I can use the garage and be a real 'dancing granny'. lol Well, I'd better go start getting ready for choir... talk to you tomorrow. LYM!
