I joined this challenge because I knew I wasn't doing it. Looks like I'm going to have to gradually build up to getting the right amount. Yesterday I got 12 g. Today I did a little better: 17 g.

Just did get mine in today:

Monday

South Beach Living PB bar = 3
1 1/2 cups of oatmeal = 14.35
Walnuts = 0.835
Black Plums = 1
Fiber Supplement = 2.4

Total = 21.585

Probably got a little bit more from some broccoli that was in a tuna casserole I made but don't know how to calculate that and really to tired to try to figure it out.

I really need to start using my pita bread and flat bread before they ruin.....they are both wheat based..........think I will try taking some of that tuna casserole and making a wrap out of the flat bread for lunch tomorrow.....don't know how that will taste but gonna go for it anyway.

I did really good with the fiber, I think that I got around 25 grams. This morning, I had low fat vanilla yogurt,with diced mango,and almost 2 tbsp. of wheat germ. It was really good! I had a bowl of raisin bran,and an apple for lunch. Dinner was chicken breast, half a baked potato,and asperageus. Oh,and a tiger's milk bar for a snack. I have a feeling that I'm going to start having a hard time thinking of fiber rich foods, so let's all share our ideas,and what we are eating!

I got in 26 grams today:

2/3 cup high-fiber granola-14 grams (this is my favorite and it's loaded with fiber-it's from Whole Foods)
Kashi Bar-6 grams
Amy's Organic Chunky Vegetable Soup-3 grams
Banana-3 grams

Also had some multi-grain bread and sweet potatoes with dinner, but I don't know their fiber content.

Dee, what kind of oatmeal are you eating that gives you that much fiber?

Jen -- According the calculator chart at FiberChoice 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal calculates to 14.35.........I use Quaker Oats, according to box there is 4 grams for every 1/2 cup......so that would really be 12...will adjust my numbers in future tallies.......Thanks for the heads up!

I think I'll be out today for fiber because of lack of eating (explained in check in). I did do well yesterday though . A yogurt I REALLY love is the "Activia Fiber" Apple Meuslix and Strawberry cereal. One yogurt has 2g of fiber That's really good considering yogurt yogurt usually has 0 Good going on your fiber everyone!
