I got to talk to Tina, a BLUE teammate, on the phone, and man, do we have some similarities with our sons! It was awesome talking to someone else who's going thru what I am, but she lives over 5,000 miles away from me!

I am hoping to lose 30 pounds by Jan 1st, but I don't know if it's possible and/or healthy. But, I am gonna get it in gear and work for it. I have to pick up another rx for my sinus infection today. Now, it's in my chest and nose! It's not fun! I just wanna sleep a lot and it's been hard to get motivated all week! Still walking tho.

Have a great weigh in Rockstars!!! Remember GO BLUE!!!

Its great how you stay motivated even with feeling like crap...I hope this med works for you. It seems like its been getting worse for you though. Tina is a such a sweetie on her I can only imagine how she is in person. I'm glad it helped for you to talk to someone about your son...Iknow it stresses you out. Great job girly!!!

Okay... I just want to say that I absolutely Love and Loathe you! lol

I loathe you because up until I joined you, I was just skating by pretending that I was eating healthy enough, being active enough, and I realized I was gaining weight but I avoided the scale and didn't want to take responsibility for what was happening to my body. Then my cousin Jeff told me about you guys and I thought it sounded like a good idea. But you made me get on a scale! Now, I am painfully aware of just how much I have been ignoring. Before I had my son (who is going to be three next month) I was naturally skinny and had no regard... but then the body went through major changes with the whole child birth thing, then last year I slipped into the depths of depression and let me tell you depression is not to friendly to weight (at least not mine), and I am still struggling with it... so this whole weight loss thing is very foreign and hard for me.

But, I love you all for being so supportive and encouraging. It gives me much hope to know that I am not the only one who is dealing with this, and knowing I have a whole lot of you right at my fingertips for advice, encouragement, and friendship really heartens me. I don't know any of you very well (except Jeff) but I thank you for being here and for helping out other people like me who need a little help with this!
Good...I'm glad we've helped you throught this...thats what we are here for. When I first joined months ago...I didn't know what to expect...I love this team. We don't just talk about he weight and how to loose it but the daily things that are going on in our lives. We help each other with everyday obstacles. Glad you are part of our family now!!!

I started depression meds Friday. I had to wait til my flex card started working. He prescribed Celexa and I am jumping out of my skin. I dont know if I like it....but I had been taking xanax for episodes of anxiety which is the equivalent of drinking without the calories, so it may be just going from the numbness of xanax to the highness of the new AD. I hate meds, but it normalizes....
When I was on depression meds a few years ago...my doc put me through many pill cocktails...it was horrible. He finally put me on Cymbalta and it worked for me. I weined my own self off...and haven't been as depressed feeling since. Hope you find what you need to make you feel better.

Hey Rockstars...you guys are really rockin' with the weight loss this week. Way to go!!!

Sorry I didn't get to catch up with you all yesterday had a really busy day. It started by getting up at 6:45am...for some reason Lily was up early..ugh. Than we had Little Gym class at 9am, weight watchers meeting at 10:30am, I went home for an hour, than mom, dad, Lily, my niece and I all went to the nature center near my house. We went hiking in the woods for a bout 2hours...lol I need a better stroller....lol My poor father didn't think his daughter should be lifting the stroller over fallen trees or roots so he pushed Lily the whole wat through the woods. When we got home from there I sat around for a little while to rest and than I was off again. I met up with my best friend and watched movies and ate Thai food at her house. We saw Ironman and I finally watched 30 Days of Night...pretty good. I got home about 11:30pm. So as I said long...long...day!!!! Fun though!

I wanted to jump on here this afternoon while Lily was sleeping so I could try and catch up. I'm getting ready to head off to Kohls to return a pair of shoes I bought and possibly do a little early Christmas shopping.

Well have a wonderful rest of the day...it gorgeous here in Maryland. I'll see you all tonight.

Peace...Love and Hairgrease!!!

Smooches!

GO PINK TEAM!!!

I just got done 2 miles on the treadmill and doing some strength training. Earlier I went out shopping for jeans since the ones I recently bought are already getting big on me. I have a hard time finding long jeans since I am tall. Lane Bryant is where I usually buy them at but I really can't justify to myself buying $40 jeans when they'll be too big for me soon. Too bad all of us don't live near one another so we could rotate clothes! That'd be fun lol. Anyways I ended up at Old Navy and tried on a size 18 regular which fit nice except too short so I ordered them online. I'm lovin' their $14.92 sale! Woohooo!

It totally slipped my mind to weigh in this morning for some odd reason. So I will get my weight to Lara early tomorrow.

For the rest of the night I'll be watching my PHILLIES!!! Take care guys. I have my laptop so I'll be reading blogs at the same time
Man I feel you on the jean situation Katie...I bought one pair form Lane Bryant and love how they fit...but they are getting too big which is great but at the same time aggrivating since I don't have money to keep getting new clothes. I feel soooo sloppy sometimes...especially with my work clothes that are falling off me. That is a smart suggestion...rotating clothes! LOL!!!

Great job so far with the weigh ins this week, I'm only posting a 1 lb loss, but at least it's a loss! I did a little bit of reading on here after we got home and then got my son down for a nap. Now I'm getting a bite of non-road food and then I'll unpack the car. Hopefully I'll get some pics up tonight to share with you guys, I've got some really great ones. Anyway, you'll hear more from me later.
Thats right Allison...that is great...a loss is a loss regardless of what it is. Like I told Lara I lost .6 so not even a pound...I'm just happy it didnt go up like I thought I was going to do. Yay us!!!
