My Goals for the week:
*Around 1500 calories (Sparkpeople gave me a range of like 1600-1800 but I think they overestimate how many calories I burn)
*Curves 3 days a week, 3 mile WATP other 3 days, rest 1 day
*Keep watching my sodium, trying to stay in range
*Keep eating more fruits and veggies
*Drink 9+ cups of water per day, even more if it's hot and I do lots of cardio
*I'm also going to track how many steps my pedometer says I walk. Of course if I do cardio, like Curves, it will be counted but it will be fun to see how many steps I am doing!
Good luck Cats!
Great goals! Well tonite, I am gonna enjoy myself, limit chips and put half my dinner away in a box.

I wish I could have had "better" vegetables today but didn't get any. But I guess even potatoes and corn have some nutritional value that I would miss if I ate only broccoli and cauliflower all the time!
Vitamin~check
Water~check
Exercise: Curves
Steps walked so far: 8486! It's not even nighttime yet so I might get some more in...maybe 9000. I really wanted to make it to 10000 so I don't seem like the lazy unfit person in the class who does nothing but watch tv all day!
oh and the steps also count what I did at Curves...in between machines you workout on a recovery mat, I just walk/jog/march in place so alot of steps were counted then
I need to write down and log my steps taken, so tomorrow I will post my final number!
Yes, they do have value.
Good job on all that walking!

Great goals this week!
update: my pedometer says I walked 8,911 steps today! It says I burned 934 calories too! It's not a heart monitor so it only bases this on my weight, and it is counting my steps at Curves (though I don't think it counts what I did on the machines) Kinda surprising to me though... lol

Yesterday we had a house warming for my 2 daughters for their 1st apartment. I ate a gianormous muffin and really thought I would pay for it today.......... I didn't. I am so grateful I am really going to focus on water today.

I know how you feel Karen! I was at the fair again today and feel bad about wha t I ate, though I think I was in my calorie range...we were planning on only being there a while, but stayed the whole afternoon! I should have brought a snack because we ended up eating lunch there (I had fish and split curly fries with my mom) then around evening I had free popcorn and they gave out free ice cream so I ate that too...
but so far I got almost 6700 steps in (I walked alot at the fair) so I guess that helps...
and I've been wanting to try this workout movie I got by Richard Simmons-it is Salsa dancing. it is on VHS and so I will need to do it in my parent's room where there is a little more room to move. and my dad is working a double! so he won't know I'm exercising in there today
I'm going to wait until my dinner settles, but I'll tell you if I like it!

Today's Accountability:
B-oatmeal
L-fish and curly fries
S-ice cream and popcorn
D-Stromboli-veggies, no meat!
Total Calories-1,509
Vitamin~check
Water~check
Exercise-40 mins of salsa dancing with Richard Simmons.
I liked Leslie Sanson's workouts better. With this I was very behind and I think some of the moves were complex...with Leslie she kept it to a few simple basic moves, taught them in the beginning and used them through the workout. When she said side steps you knew what you were doing!
But I liked the part of the end where they did toning exercises...so I might keep doing that workout in the future...
