JILLIAN'S TIP OF THE DAY
Rowing
I love rowing because it offers another change of pace. It allows you to work multiple muscle groups simultaneously. You can tone your back, biceps, and quads, all while working your cardiopulmonary system. To get the most out of it, keep the resistance at a minimum of three. Make sure to press through your heels as you extend your legs. Keep your abs tight, and relax your neck and shoulders. To target different back muscles, alternate an overhand grip with an underhand one every five minutes. Roll up your sleeves and hang in there!

Anj- yeah I now weigh myself before exercising, I learned that is the "right" way to do it...it's just so motivating to change my tracker...the kitty will be going the wrong way! (backwards)
Kama-I do try to get at least 8 cups of water a day, some more if I can on other days. I even carry my water bottle with me to class (I bring it from home) and drink three cups by lunch time, then I buy another bottle at school (another 2 cups) and try to drink the rest and more at home. then I try to stop drinking water three hours before going to sleep...lol
oh cool I have a rowing machine...I really should be using that! I never realized it was such a good machine. it was just very tough (had alot of resistance) but if I put it on a lower level maybe that would be better...
Welcome to the group, Lyssa! I look forward to getting to know you!

Today's Accountability:
B- egg in an english muffin
L-turkey and romaine lettuce on wheat tortilla
S-banana
D- cauliflower and garlic shrimp with pasta and broccoli (it was a lean cuisine meal) which was very good! the noodles had garlic in and it tasted like garlic bread almost and I had my two other favorite foods (shrimp and broccoli!) there was also french fries but after eating that the french fries didn't look as good! lol
Total Calories: 1,059 seems low, but thats ok. I don't know if the lean cuisine meal was actually for one person or two...and I threw it out before thinking to look! but even if it was one serving, I can be low today because I might be higher tomorrow
Exercise: Curves 30 minutes
Water~check (I think I had anywhere from 8-9.5 cups today)
Vitamin~check
Hang in there Cats, it is almost Friday!!

Hi all--I just wanted to let you know that I am stepping down as co-leader of the team. I have loved working with Kama (who is AWESOME) for the last 8 months and with all of you. But as my job responsibilities have increased, I've been less able to provide the support you all deserve. Anj has graciously agreed to step in and serve as the co-leader of the Wild Cats with Kama. As you all know, Anj is already a natural leader on this team and will do a great job with Kama in leading us! Thank you so much for all of your support--I love you all. You are absolutely the BEST!!! I'm staying on as a team member so will still be here. However, you will need to start sending your weigh-ins to Kama each week.
With much love and appreciation,
Molly
