I don't know how m any of you saw this picture. I did post it in the last thread but it was near the end. So I am posting it again. It is of me and my nephew while he was here yesterday. He is not really happy in the picture due to the fact he was over tired.

Weight Watchers Banana Bread

¾ c. Splenda
½ c. unsweetened applesauce
1 egg and 3 egg whites
1 ½ c. unsifted flour
2 mashed bananas
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. each of baking soda and salt

* It is good this way, but my friend says it is much better with something added. She has added a few crushed walnuts, Craisins, and chocolate chips. Since you don’t add much of these things, the points value pretty much remains the same.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray loaf pan with Joy cooking spray (flour spray- the regular spray will cause it to burn). Mix Splenda, applesauce, eggs, and bananas until well blended. In separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Mix in banana mixture and place in pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes.

10 slices @ 2 pts. each or
8 slices @ 3 pts. each

CONGRATS TEAM! WOOHOO!

Well last night we had one heck of a storm here. Several places lost power. My youngest daughter stayed at a friend's house..(before we knew a storm was coming) and a tree broke in half right outside the little girl's bedroom window taking out a part of their fence. It scared my daughter so she called and checked on us every few minutes. such a sweetie. It was just a lot of rain & a lot of noise but we really needed the rain here.

My goals:

WATER WATER WATER!

Somehow remember to take my vitamin

Exercise 5 days this week

My husband is weighing in at 228 and he NEVER exercises! I worked out 6 days last week and I eat way healtheir then him!

do anyone have a sample menu breakfast, lunch, and dinner. i forget snack also.
Breakfast I eat the same everyday: I serving of high fiber cereal, a peice of fruit, splennda, and FAtFREE Milk.

Lunch I usually have a PBJ or PB and banana on whole wheat with FF Milk, fruit, maybe a veggie, or a serving of almonds. I kind of spread my lunch out through out the after noon, I eat my sand at 11, some fruit around 1-2, and the almonds when I feel a snack monster apon me.

Dinner is my downfall BUT I am trying to incorporate veggies as a side everyday and eating smaller portions of my unhealthy choices.

I try and not snack at night or I will have a popcycle, fruit, or 100 calorie popcorn.

Okay now I am caught up:

M 1. try and make healthier choices
2. Squeeze in my workouts (I had an 11 hour shift yesterday and a banging migraine!) Hopefully at least work out 4 days.
3. Stay focused. I want to be a loser not a gainer next week.

HEY BEAUTIFUL HEARTBREAKERS!
I had a big bowl of ice cream Sat. night (i was disgusted at not losing anything) and can u believe that Sun. morning I was down a pound! I don't know if its our scale or what but I also noticed some of you other girls have had this happen. I am getting really sick of this!

MY GOALS:

1/ Weigh in only once a wk. This is going to be TOUGH for me!
2/ Change my eating plan. I think I'm stuck in a rut and my metabolism has dropped, thus the plateau.
3/ Walk 3 x a wk. and if the weather doesn't allow, then do my belly dancing or kickboxing DVD. At least 25 min. This is a good start for me.
4/ Encourage my buddies more
5/ quiet time each day for reflection/devotion

JUST WANT TO SAY I LOVE YOU ALL AND I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN A BETTER BUDDY. I AM READY FOR SCHOOL TO START BACK SO WE CAN GET BACK IN A ROUTINE. I'M ALSO READY FOR THE HEAT TO END BUT UNFORTUNATELY ANOTHER MONTH OF THAT.

HEARTBREAKER TIP OF THE WEEK

Be sure to get 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. Here's why:

Fatigue makes you CRAVE sugary foods because they release the brain chemicals that a lack of sleep leaves your short on.

I want everyone who is short on sleep to get to bed 30 min. earlier or at least 15 min. earlier and see if it helps you.

SWEET DREAMS.............ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
