Good morning diamonds. Tanis..we will really miss you!!! Take care of yourself and hope you check in every once in awhile to say hi and to let us know your okay.

Well, it been over a month that I have been struggling with these last 11 or so pounds and it is driving me crazy. The first ten pounds were pretty easy but have been feeling very discouraged lately!!! These last few days I have not really watched what I have been eating nor have I exercised...yuk!! I went and bought Kellogg cereal and snacks to try the Special K challenge I 've heard so much about just to give me a boost. Has anyone ever done it?

Sometimes I eat Special K protein instead of supper, and usually a banana with it. but not the total challenge. maybe you are concentrating too much on it. you can do it, just relax.

Good Morning Diamonds!

I love your energy in here. It took me a while to catch up reading all the posts...lol You all seem like a real close group, wonderful! Don't know alot of you yet, but look forward to.

Tanis... take care, wish I could have known you better.
Debbie.... wow how exciting, a new baby.
Linda....thanks for that advice of not stepping on the scale with wet hair..lol I think it's wonderful you're going to cut it for locks of love.
Jen...I hope you feel better soon to get back on track, take care.
Tasha...good luck in your move, don't work too hard.
WonderWoman... great job on your eating and running, awesome!

Well I offically started trying to lose weight again a week and a half ago. Lost one pound so far in the first week. Hopefully will be more this weigh in. I worked out 5 days last week. And intend to do the same this week. My eating was a little over my WW points last week, so my main goal for this week is to get my eating under control.

Last night I ran/walked 3 miles to and from the beach. It was perfect since my son's football team practices in a park right next to the trail I use for run/walks. And that trail is 3 miles exactly (round trip) from the park to the beach.
The even better news about that is, my son has practice everyday for the next 5-6 weeks. So I will be there walking/running everyday. Makes things easier for me and no excuses not to work out.

Wow, what an awesome motivator. Glad that is convenient for you. Good luck on the food.

Hey everyone. I know I just joined the team last week and I feel like a bad teammate already. I must admit that I have not been doing so well with my eating.
With all the work on the house, I barely have time to eat and when I do, it isn't very good. It is grab something and go. It is a hectic time and I haven't been exercising either.

You are doing fine!....You are getting plenty of exercise in with the housework..just remember to take time for YOU....take the time to plan and to eat....If you don't your body will rebel!

As much as you are working on the house, you are getting the exercise. Once your life calms down, you'll get it all in place. Hang in there.

I wouldn't be concerned about it! You're extremely busy and getting plenty of exercise. Hope you're done the move by the time the girls start school.

Well, I feel like I've actually accomplished something today. Added the button holes to a new shirt for my husband. The manufacturer left two off that are on every other shirt. And I made my daughter a little sundress, all since lunch. She is delighted with the dress and it only cost $1.50 plus 45 minutes of my time. Feels great to get something done. Now I need to get my exercise done. Need to take advantage of the natural high I'm on!
