Hi everyone! I've time to spare right now while the hubby is trying to get up and moving, so I'm starting the new thread.

I messaged someone of you and some of you I have not, I'm sorry. (I'm getting married on the 26th so I'm kind of busy right now.

The basic idea of our group, if you haven't caught on entirely (it took me a while!) is that we compete against four other groups every week to see which group can lose the most weight. It gives a competitive edge to weight loss.
However, we're primarily about supporting eachother. That's what we're here for. If you haven't noticed already, we do ask eachother a lot of questions. We help everyone out by sharing our knowledge and anything we might have learned about weight loss. (secrets, recipes, new foods, etc)
The Heartbreakers focus on losing weight the healthy way.
We do ask you to weigh in once a week, on Saturday. Since you are all new, just weigh yourself today to get your
starting weight. Then, next Saturday make sure to weigh yourself again and post on this forum how much you have lost in the week. Posting it here is the best way to make sure you get counted because if you message it to me or April, and something happens that we are not able to tally it, your weight loss will not be counted. We've a wonderful team in that if someone is unable to do something, someone else usually steps up and does it.
Just come in, introduce yourself to us, and post your goals for the week! We post goals simply so that it helps you feel more obligated to do it, because everyone knows you're supposed to be working on it!

We have a LOT of new members this week (and I'm very excited about that!!!!). So, for this week I want everyone to help them feel welcome here-- not scare them off!

If they have any questions please help them out. Also, if you have anything to add to my welcoming them into the group, please do so. We all forget things now and then.
