Default Heartbreakers #22 That's what friends are for.

Hi everyone! I've time to spare right now while the hubby is trying to get up and moving, so I'm starting the new thread.

To all the new members:

I messaged someone of you and some of you I have not, I'm sorry. (I'm getting married on the 26th so I'm kind of busy right now. )

The basic idea of our group, if you haven't caught on entirely (it took me a while!) is that we compete against four other groups every week to see which group can lose the most weight. It gives a competitive edge to weight loss.

However, we're primarily about supporting eachother. That's what we're here for. If you haven't noticed already, we do ask eachother a lot of questions. We help everyone out by sharing our knowledge and anything we might have learned about weight loss. (secrets, recipes, new foods, etc)

The Heartbreakers focus on losing weight the healthy way.


We do ask you to weigh in once a week, on Saturday. Since you are all new, just weigh yourself today to get your starting weight. Then, next Saturday make sure to weigh yourself again and post on this forum how much you have lost in the week. Posting it here is the best way to make sure you get counted because if you message it to me or April, and something happens that we are not able to tally it, your weight loss will not be counted. We've a wonderful team in that if someone is unable to do something, someone else usually steps up and does it.

Just come in, introduce yourself to us, and post your goals for the week! We post goals simply so that it helps you feel more obligated to do it, because everyone knows you're supposed to be working on it!

To all the veterans:
We have a LOT of new members this week (and I'm very excited about that!!!!). So, for this week I want everyone to help them feel welcome here-- not scare them off! If they have any questions please help them out. Also, if you have anything to add to my welcoming them into the group, please do so. We all forget things now and then.

OK so now we have two threads going at once and all of the weighing in hasn't even happened yet so which one are we posting our weight loss to because the other one already has some, but this is the newest thread??? A little confusing.

(Or has the weighing in day changed?)

This is the new thread for next week, (Joy started it early this week because she will be tied up with her wedding) so I would imagine your weight would go on the last one, #21. This one, #22 will be for next Sat's weigh-ins.

My goals for the coming week:

Eat Healthy!
More water.
One hour of exercise every day but Sunday.
Remember; The best way to get motivated....
is to motivate someone else!

Hello, everyone!!! I'm ready for the new week to begin as well!!!!

My new goals for the week are:

1. workout at everyday, no skipping this week
2. more water and fiber this week.
3. stay with the veggies and fruits this week
4. Focus on my next min-goal...50lbs mark!!!
5. Support the new members

1. water water and more water.
2. exercise up to 30 mins each day

Welcome new Heartbreakers! We realy do need new blood in here. I hope you all feel comfortable and will keep checking in and enjoying what buddyslim and the Heartbreakers group have to offer.

My goals this week:

1-more water (I have realy been slacking on this one, and it's the easy one!)
2-exercise 6 days
3-make my veggie soup
4-look for new exercises

I am going to be sucessful this week!!!
