Great plans everybody, and welcome to the team Donna!!
My plan for this week ...
Do my Nivea video and at least 20 min. treadmill 5 days this week.
Stay around 1200 calories per day.
Drink a gallon+ of water every day.
Look for a good pilates video.
Blog more ...
I need to find a way to stop getting so stressed out about silly little things. Jeff says that I am going to die young because I am constantly stressed out. It is having an effect on our marrage. I get stressed and snippy, then he gets pissed with me and tells me I need to just stop being so stressed, as if I have any control over it. Ok honey, I'm sorry , let me just flip the stress switch off. All the women in my family are this way and I have always been this way, I think lately though it has been effecting my mood more and more. Sorry for the rant, I just got b*tched at all morning, and I needed someone to vent to, lol. Especially since my best friend is bitter, not really talking to me, and ...... you know what, I may just blog about that instead of going off about it here .... Wow this week is starting out wonderful!
Anyway ..... I hope everybody is having a better day than me!!!

Had to switch things up a bit, because last week was not quite it. So some changes....

Goals:
Respect myself - Balance/Portions/Nutrition/Activity
Faith in myself
Give thanks before and after meals and snacks
Savor slowly
Record intake and outtake here
Feed my actual hunger
Find a little time in each day to relax in Silence

Each day I will type goals w/ a *check* for goals completed. Not aiming for perfection, but this week I treat myself with the respect I deserve, no matter if I feel lousy! This week I make the time! Will record here each night after my last bit of food is eaten.

My contract to myself. I even signed underneath my goals in my journal. That has gotta mean something.
I really like the idea of putting a check by the goals completed- I may have to borrow that idea from you! It seems like a great way to keep accountable! Here are my goals for this week:

Stay OP 6 days
Exercise 6 days
Lose 1 pound
Eat all meals at the table, with no TV on
Be still, and know that God is God
Do fun exercise things w/Mikayla

I understand how you feel especially with the stress part. I used to stress about everything. A couple years ago I developed a new way of thinking. It goes something like this.....first I decide if I have a problem.....if yes do I have a solution....if no than just forget about it. Do not stress over the things we have no control over. Always have faith that things will work out the way they should. My relationship got better, I became a better person, and my life is the best it has ever been. Good luck and God bless.

Okay Wildcats now that we have kicked butt for the second week in a row......it's time to start a brand new week. I went back to work yesterday after being off for two weeks and ate a whopping 52 points. Yes that would be 52. That like 16 points too much. Anyways today is a brand new day and here are my goals for the week.....

1. Stay within my points
2. Exercise at least 60 minutes a day
3. Take my vitamin
4. water, water, and more water
5. keep my eating under control while at work
6. support, cheer on, and motivate my team mates to a win this week

Good luck to all of you

Jenny

Week's Goals:
*1200 calories
*Daily Vitamins and water, water, water
*Eat more fruits and veggies (going to the store soon, going to make healthy choices!)
*Curves 3 times this week...also going to check out the library for workout videos (not sure if they have any but it is worth a try)
*Lose 3 pounds or more!
*Challenges: Lower 2,4,5,7
Also I've been wanting to buy some weight things (like the 2 or 3 pounders at walmart) is there anything specific I should look for?

I haven't noticed myself if my body is looking different (probably focusing on all the things I hate) but both my mom and my ex boyfriend think my face looks thinner...so I'll take that

I bet you look absolutely wonderful. Look at how that hard work has paid off!! Keep it up. Great plan for the week. Make sure you eat those 1200 calories.

Linsey-I totally agree and do the same thing Jennifer does with the stress. I know how I feel when I am stressed, so I stop, pause and try to pinpoint why I feel stressed aka what is my problem now? lol...so once I have that figured out I try to decide if I can do anything about it. If I know I have no control over it, I try to forget about it and focus on what I can change or fix...I know I can't control or fix everything in my life, but I try to improve what I can!
Kama-thanks for thinking about a good quality mat/floor. I mean, our basement floor is concrete, so I need to put down something I can sit on if I need too...now I know to find a mat that won't cause burns
thanks guys, I know 26 pounds is alot. I am almost down to how much I weighed at the end of high school (260) like 14 more pounds to go. At first I realized my stomach was smaller, because I was laying in my bed talking on the phone with a hand on my stomach. I realized it felt really weird, and it felt smaller...lol so I figured I'd watch that a while. Then I began fitting into my clothes better...a pair of pants that I bought in April had been skin tight but were loose and comfortable the end of may...a shirt that was tight in January is loose now...I just don't see it in the mirror.
Great plans this week everyone!

The hardest part for me actually realizing that I am getting stressed. Its so normal for me to feel this way, that by the time I realize that I need to relax, I am way past that point. I need to start recognising the signs earlier, and taking action. Looking back at my post, I make things out to be worse than they really are. Jeff isn't at all that awful and my marriage isn't bad or anything. I just get so mad when he starts in on me when I'm not happy to begin with. I think he may be a bit stressed as well. I do need to let the things that I can't control go. I have a tendancy to dwell on things for a long time, I just can't stop thinking about it. Thanks for the advise! I really appreciate having you guys help get me back in the right frame of mind
I feel better now than I did this morning ((((hugz))))
