My goals for this week:

1. stay between 1200 and 1500 calories daily
2. take my vitamins and fish oil daily
3. hit up the gym at least 5 times (2 times with trainer)
4. do not use the soda fountain in the client's office - even for diet soda
5. drink 3 water bottles of water (water drank at the gym doesn't count)
6. do hip and leg stretches each night to prevent re-injury
7. not a good goal for some but... no cheating - not once, it's kind of a snowball effect for me - I'm going to stay on track until I get under 180, even if it kills me.

Yay for the win this week!!! Everyone is so awesome!!!

Thanks for the awesome welcome to the Wildcats team! I appreciate the many messages of encouragement this week...ya'll ROCK!

Here are my goals for this week:

* Drink 100+ ounces of water every day.
* Do at least 30 minutes of cardio every day.
* Complete the team challenges (wow - VERY impressed - like having my own personal trainer in the room w/me).
* Continue the "No S" program (refuse to call it a diet - basically,no sweets, seconds, or snacks anyday except for those starting with an S).
* Don't be an idiot on those "S" days (hopefully the good habits I build on the non-S days will see me through the non-S days without too much excess).
* Take my multi-vitamin every day.
* Limit caffeine (note to self: You need to give up your love affair for Diet Dr Peppers.)
* Encourage my teammates.

Good evening Wildcats, congrats on the win and everyone's weight loss successes.
My Goals for the week
1. Try to get my calories up to 1200
2. Go to Curves this week
3. Drink 3 bottles of water
4. Work on not eating before bedtime/bedtime binges (broke that tonight cause dinner was late)
5. Doing the challenges- C1, C2, C3 and C5
6. Researching and eventually going to the grocery store for: Low carb bread/whole wheat, fresh veggies and fruits, new foods and a multi-vitamin (I have tons of bruises, where did they come from!?!)

I did alright today, but I only came to 855 calories today, and that was because I decided to have some ice cream with dinner...I think I should try making my meals...larger? Like my breakfast is oatmeal which is only 130 calories, if I added even one more item to each meal I think I might hit 1200...
well today my dad had off work and since he worked Friday we went on a picnic today.
B-Apples and cinnamon Oatmeal
L- Grilled haddock (fish) and a large salad (romaine lettuce, cheese and italian dressing)
Snack-Curves strawberry bar
Dinner- Haddock/fish and dish of icecream

You seem to be doing low carb right? I don't know how concerned you are with fat, but maybe try a serving (usually 2 oz. or 1/4 Cup) of nuts. Like walnuts are great and studies have been done to show some great health benefits. That way you can add on some calories pretty easily... if you have certain perameters you are comfortable sharing, post them, and maybe I or someone else might have some ideas for healthy snacks or meals to help up your calories.

You can do it!!

Thanks Kristy! I've been looking around on Sparkpeople for recipes and I'm not sure if I really want good recipes (I never cook) or just good meal plans.
I've been trying to go low carb or at least have a small reasonable amount of carbs in my diet, basically limiting them, not ruling them out. See I've tried no carbs and couldn't take it and now I'm trying to count calories and limit carbs but it seems like everything I eat has carbs in it...
I love nuts, some days I eat a handful as a snack, I don't pay attention to their fat because they seem a healthier alternative than say a bag of chips...
I just don't eat red meats or pork but I do eat fish, tuna and turkey. I think I might put together a wishlist menu to look for when I go to the store, like adding a banana or apple for breakfast, putting peanut butter on an apple for a snack and that type of thing...if you have any suggestions that would be great.
