Looks like everyone had wonderful days yesterday

I stayed OP, but it was a crazy night. Tim was stuck in Porta Potty for 3 1/2 hours last night, ROTFLMAO!! Seriously, he was out in the bike and got caught in the rain...only shelter he could find was a Porta Potty...I am gonna be laughing about this for weeks. For some reason, he didn't find it very funny...
ROTHFLMAOOL!!!!

He will think it's funny eventually! I finished yesterday with 32 points- 1 over but otherwise not bad. Mikayla and I have started eating at the table like we are supposed to instead of in front of the TV and I think it is making a difference. I have been working with her on really slowing down and enjoying her food- she is only 10 and only about 10 pounds overweight but I am trying to help her slim down a little- I certainly don't want her to end up struggling with her weight as an adult, like me. Today so far is simple:

B- cereal- 4pts

Getting ready to go for a walk in about 20 mins- and Jillian is waiting for me at home tonight!! Have a great day!
Is your Mikayla enjoying eating well and working out with you? I have a feeling I'm going to have to do this with my Mikayla.. we have overweight genes on both sides, Chris and myself, so I'm worried she'll be a bit chubby too. I hope I can do a good job of getting her to like veggies a lot more than I do. I think it'll help that Chris likes tons of veggies, so maybe she'll like them as well....

She's pretty good about eating healthy-she loves fruit and eats way more of a variety than I do. I think her problem is she just doesn't get enough exercise to combat how much she eats- I really haven't cut back on her eating, because it's like mine- 5 or so smaller meals a day compared to 3 large ones and she eats a lot of healthy food. But her dad is 6'3" and very big boned and my side of the family always struggles w/weight so I know she is prone to it. I got her a WATP for kids and she really likes that, and she wants me to get her some more stuff like that. We've also cut way back on our TV time and instead are playing board games, playing outside, and playing active games like "Twister Moves"- she loves to read like me so we're doing more of that too. She is enjoying the Mommy time (so am I!) so for her it doesn't really feel like she's missing out on anything. It is a struggle to be a good example when I want to be bad, but I keep it up for her sake!

Update:

B- Cereal- 4pts
S- 2 graham crackers w/pb- 3pts
E- 10 min walk (and it's hot and sticky- yuck!)

Don't know what lunch is going to be yet- I have chicken marinating in Fat-free Italian dressing to go on the grill for dinner tonight. Lunch will probably be a sandwich- turkey sounds good-think I'll do that! I'm trying to be more of a planner when it comes to meals now that I'm helping Mikayla- who knows maybe all this stuff I'm doing for her will rub off on me! That's my hope anyway!!

That's awesome! Good ideas too! Thanks! Of course I have a few years to go before I probably need to worry about all this, but it's good to know, for when/if I do!

Lol Anj! poor Tim, was he traumatized? I'd probably be...lol
Nope, he said that he sat there watching the spiders on the wall by the light of his cell phone...until that died...then he just sat there in the dark...LMAO!

I love eating at the table, but barely ever do it though. There is something so destressing about it.
