Hello Everyone! It looks like we all had a great Tuesday. Way to go on the journaling, eating in control, and working out! This is how we are going to be back on top as a team! Keep it up!
My Tuesday went really well. I swam 64 laps for the very first time. Oh my goodness! I did not want to get out of bed this morning. I am so tired. But it's the good, worked hard tired not the lazy don't want to do anything tired. I also ate pretty well, except for a few "sweet stops" which I am going to nip in the bud today.
Today (Wednesday) I am going to go for a quick run. Instead of running long and slow, I'm going to go for shorter and faster to mix things up. I have a feeling I'll be huffing and puffing a lot today!
I hope you all have an awesome Wednesday! Keep your goals in mind all day and stay focused. Remember to enjoy life! It's great!

Good morning team,
thought i would let you all know that i am starting to journal my food as from today. I am just going to give it a try. have to customize lots of food in the list though. but i can. I hope to when i see what i eat that makes me realize that what i eat is still wrong and can change it. i will even journal if i have candy of some kind. have to be true to myself to be able to help myself. I have been snacking lots since aunt flow is here. bad bad bad, i did lose one of the 2 pounds i had gained. so i hope that is a really good sign. i'll have something light for lunch, tukey sandwich or something and then i will have a wrap tonite for dinner. cooked some pork chops last night and i can dice a little up and put it in there. Not the leanest meat in the world but hey i am trying lol.....i really hope this is going to help me realize what i put in my boddy. already can tell i eat way to many carbs....grrr i am a cab-aholic and i hate it. It's like the more i try to resist it the more i want it.
anyway, just wanted to give you all an update.
talk to you later.

I think the journaling will help Yvette. It's a great accountability tool. I hope you feel better soon went Aunt Flow leaves!

Good morning my great buddies! I turned a bad morning into a great one quick. I woke up early this morning to get Maddie up and ready for Bible school. Then it hit me - all these non-stop days of baseballl, coming and going, in and out of the house has taken it's toll. My house was a wreck!!!! Uh, I was so mad and disgusted. And of course, I wanted to eat to make the feelings go away. But I calmed down and told myself I could get it into somewhat of a shape in no time. So in an hour I picked up, washed the dishes and swept and mopped. Now I feel much better and I don't want to pig out anymore!

I'm about to go online and book our condo for next week. That's always exciting, except when I have to pay of course. Then I have to go online and rush a couple bathing suits here. That's not so fun . Well, here's to another successful, active and journal filled day! Have a great one everyone!

Translation:
Do you write down your goals? Writing down your goals can be a crucial step in achieving them. First, by writing them down you are sending a message to your brain that you are committed. Second, it helps to keep your priorities straight. Finally, it allows you to track your successes and step backs so that you can improve and reevaluate your plan. Set aside some time to reflect on your goals. Where do you want to go? What is your plan to get there? Then begin to write them down. There are many different ways to write down your goals from a simple list to a creative magnet, so pick the option that works best for you. The final thing to do is to make them visible. Put your written down goals where you will see them everyday. Look at them often and success will follow.

Good afternoon everyone. I hope you all are having a good Wednesday. Mine is good but busy. My hip hurts for some reason today, I think when I was doing my squats last night before bed, I squated funny, if that's possible. I probably should have worn my sneakers into work today, but it's going to be hot, so I didn't want my feet sweating.

I think I'm going to go try doing some stretching tonight on the Pilates machine to see if that will ease it, if not, I will be headed for the hot tub.

Give an inch, take a mile. That's what I do. It's very frustrating. Whenever I decide to "treat" myself with a piece of chocolate or an extra bowl of cereal it winds up being a daily treat that spirals out of control until it enters binge-city. I hit the binge today.
We didn't have family dinner today. That was the start of it. When I got home from my run the kids had already eaten and my share was on the counter. I had one extra wrap that I didn't need and some apple. I would have been ok if I had stopped there. After waiting a while, I went back to the kitchen and got some cereal (it's muesli so not bad for me, I just didn't need it). Then I had several cookies and more cereal. I don't know what my deal is. Maybe I'm not getting enough calcium and I'm craving cereal. Maybe I just have a serious weak spot for cereal. Maybe I'm finally feeling fit and I'm sabotaging myself. Whatever the reason it's got to stop. I should feel healthy and fit. I had a good run and ate well all day. But instead I feel full and lazy. Tomorrow I'm not "treating" myself. Tomorrow I might run and swim. No more self-sabotage!
I hope you are all having a great day. Stay strong! I will too!
