Christmas in July! Happy New You!

We have decided to make a resolution to lose as much weight as we can before Jan. 1st 2009. That is a long time to be nice, so we might need some healthier substitutions to help get us there...some naughty, but still nice treats.

So our new challenge is to share our Naughty AND Nice recipes!

I have a certain number of calories and fat grams...so sometimes I budget them for a treat.

There are some that are my favorites...wondering if anyone else out there has treats that are naughty, but nice?

Brownie ice cream sundae: A "No Pudge" brownie with a scoop of low fat frozen vanilla yogurt with a t of choc syrup and fat free redi whip topping...225 cals/1 gram of fat vs Chocolate Bliss from Baskin Robbins 880 cals/42 fat

Apple pie a la mode: An apple microwaved with cinnamon, lemon and sugar on top of a graham cracker with a scoop of vanilla low fat yogurt....220 cals/1 gram of fat vs. Apple pie a la mode 1203 cal/53 fat at Shoney's.

Ice Cream Sandwich: Skinny cow...140 cals/1.5 fat vs Toll House Cookie sandwich 500 cal/24 fat

Frozen Strawberry Shortcake: Angel food cake 1/2 slice with lowfat frozen strawberry yogurt with sliced strawberries soaked in sugar and lemon...with fat free whipped cream. 240 cals/1 fat vs Strawberry shortcake shake from Baskin Robbins for 1900cals/102 fat grams!!!!
