Here is the thread for week 14. Since we (which means I) got messed up number wise last week, it is really week 14. We won the weigh in with a 30 pound loss I am really excited, but I know that loss does not come easily. It takes a lot of work every week from our dedicated ROCKSTARS. Please be sure you are weighing in every week. We had a few No Shows this week, and even if these were gains or maintains, we want to support you. We love our ROCKSTARS!

Is there anyone willing to take over the responsibility of weigh in? I know that HOLLY already has the challenges and Josh is ROCKIN the bios, but one thing that I really need to be a priority in my life is my relationship with God, and I still haven't made it back to church. I miss it. Most of us are doing okay on the Saturday weigh in, but there are still many that are needing to weigh in Sunday Morning, If you are interested let me know. It is hard for me to give up that part of the team, being somewhat of a control freak :P, but I need to if anyone else is up to the weekly task Email me if you are interested ....

What I have learned about being a ROCKSTAR after 12 weeks (This is actually week 13! Oops Too much ROCKSTAR partying):

• ROCKSTARS are awesome friends and we have more in common than our battle with the scale
• ROCKSTARS have an attitude of success, no matter what the numbers show
• ROCKSTARS never give up - they keep working and working until that weight gives in

I challenge you this week:

• Email your fellow ROCKSTARS and check in with them
• Post a new pic if you haven't done so in the last week
• Post a blog and tell us how you are doing
• Participate in the challenge - if there are things that would work better for you on the list, contact Holly and she can add them

Together we can do this. We are a strong team of friends and losers who have lost a total of 390 pounds in 13 weeks of participation! That is awesome!!!

Rock On ROCKSTARS - Reminders

Weigh ins are on Saturday if at all possible. Any time is fine. If you need to "do an emergency weigh in" be sure to get it to me by 10 am Sunday. We had ALMOST ALL ROCKSTARS weigh in this week.

As a weight loss challenge team we are here to support each other the best way that we can. To do that we need to make sure that we are:

reading and commenting on blogs
posting in the forums
giving each other pats on the back, support, and advice
checking in when things are hectic, so that we can help you

Just remember all that in order to be competitive (not that it is the be all of the ROCKSTARS, but one of the things we do) we have to make sure that we are weighing in. I may take people off temporarily who have not weighed in or checked in for 2 or more weeks. If you have some reason you can't weigh in for a while, you can still be on the team, but we may want to give a "weighing space" to someone else. For example, I know there are many teams who have members who are pregnant, and they are still on the team, but are not a part of the challenge. I noticed while doing boosters that two of our members who have been MIA haven't even logged on in over 10 days. This is the way the other teams are doing it, so just wanna be consistent.

If I had my own computer, and the ability to go online on Sunday am, every Sunday, I would do it. My problem is we are all competing for the computer at the same time. I can relate to going to church too, because we say as a family we need to start going too, and we always find reasons why we can't go. Church would do wonders for many of us, that's for sure!!!

Well Rockstars...the past 2 days I've been really crappy with my eating...don't know whats going on. I need to step it up and get back on track. I'll do it tomorrow. I went ot the grocery store so I have what I need now...I just have to prep it so I don't get lazy and not eat it because I'm too tired to make it.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend...I went to the beach today with my sister, nieces and my little girl. We had a blast...this was her first time at the beach and she loved it. She is dead tired now...she passed out as soon as we came home...poor little girl.

Well I'm off to bed...been a long day...I just wanted to stop in and say hi and see how everyone was doing! Check back with you all tomorrow. Have a wonderful skinny week!
