Happy Independence Day!! I hope everyone has a fun day and a thankful heart. I'm spending the day with family I don't usually get to see. My nieces are home from Canada for the first time in 4 years!! I'm so excited to see them. Jocelyn is 6 and Taylor is 4. My boys will love being with their cousins. I'll post pictures. sorry i haven't bn here faithfully n 4ever but i'm hopefully b bac 2 my ol self soon. but just wanted 2 tell every1 that i weighed myself yesterday. as i stepped on the scale i just knew i had gained all my weight back n then some but the #'s told me i had only gained 4 pds back. thats stilll alot n my book but it's better than gaining 15 or so bac. n i'm n this stage again it's like i can't stop eating. i'm never full. i'm like gn down a hill n can't stop myself. but when i saw my weight gain i told myself i may not b at my worst gain that i thought i was at but it doesn't give me the freedom 2 keep eating. no one can lose or get me 2 slow down on my eating except me so i kinda gave my self a whoppin... n said that i'm at 155pds n i'm staying there. I'm not gn 2 go ne more up on that scale the only change n the 155 needs 2 b decreasing. so i just finally put my foot down n said no one is making me eat n gain weight like this except me so my foots down n hopefully soon the weight will start 2. I may stay at this weight 4 awhile but it's better than gaining. so rockstarz! here i go!

Thanks Tammy....I am deff. not a stinky rocker at the moment, all showered and stuff. Although, after working last night too I was a bit of the stinky rocker!

Happy 4th of July Rockstars!!!!

I know I already had that quick post this morning, but now I'll sit here and post my real one with some thought behind it.

I hope everybody is having a great and healthy holiday and that all contiunes through the weekend. The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays of the year. This, New Year's and Halloween are my top 3...yeah, weird kid I know, not even Flag Day or Groundhog Day....what a strange guy I am. LOL.

The neighborhood I grew up in (and still live in) has a parade for the kids every year on the 4th. The kids get dressed up and it's pretty cute. It was such a big deal around here growing up to "be in the parade"...they have different categories like General, Horrible, Patriotic, Floats, and some others. I had been in probably all of them....Horrible as a 2 headed moster with a friend of mine when we were kids. Floats was always the big one...we did so many of those as kids. Anyway, they also do races and stuff for the kids and it's a fun neighborhood thing to be part of. I used to do all of the P.A. announcing for the awards and the races and stuff. My parents, my sister, my nephew, and I all went to watch that this morning. Renee' unfortunately had to work (boo...stupid supermarket being open on a holiday). Got to see some people who I hadn't seen for a while so that was nice.

After that we came back home and I played a bit with my nephew. He's such an active little guy now. We went food shopping and had some lunch at home. My aunt came down from New Hampshire for the day. Renee' is now on her way home....we're doing some grilled chicken for dinner tonight and I get to weigh in tomorrow. I'm really hoping to have made it close to the 5 pounds I was trying for.

Work yesterday ended up being not too bad except just as the game was about to start we got a terrible thunder storm. They delayed the game by 25 minutes due to that and luckilly I stayed dry and under cover. I'm pretty tired today though cause I didn't get home and to bed until almost 1am.

sorry I have been MIA lately...I just get so consumed in my life that i dont take the time to get in touch with everyone. that is something i need to work on. i get on here and read the forum about once a day...but havent felt like getting involved in the conversations...DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT? my doctor put me on antideppresants, and i just upped my dosage and for the first time in a long time...i felt great today! i felt that i was a good mom, plus i got a lot accomplished. i finally feel like i'm taking control of my life...been working on myself, finances and getting organized. anyway, i am like this with other friends in my day to day life...i fall out of touch with them...i guess just so i dont have to talk to them. am i crazy...or does that happen to anyone else? anyway...the new and improved me is here!! Anyway...hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July!! I really love you guys and the support you give me. I am going to step it up and quit being so selfish...i love the support i get, but dont encourage others enough. Thats my goal for this week....love love love

a mixed blessings day for me- i am up two pounds, back up to 178 (still below 180, yay!) but had a much better day at my new job. fingers crossed this keeps going
