there is at least one pei wei in las vegas. i loved it but hubby didn't. it is rumored to be connected with pf changs and pick up stix, sort of the in-between version of sit down and fast food chinese. but i dunno how true that is about being connected to the other two restaurants...

boy am I tired....hello Rockstars!!! After my job with FOX News and Carl Rove, I got home at 2am and then left at 8am to head to Gillette Stadium to make a PSA with Teddy Bruschi. For those of you not familiar, he's a player on the New England Patrios. Anyway, it's almost 1am now and I'm beat, but I wanted to come say hi...I miss you all and will be back on tomorrow.

GOOD MORNING BLUE ROCKSTARS!!!!

Of course, as always...A Wonderfull Good Morning to every Rockstar, but I have to stay true to my blue!!!

Well, wow did these past 2 days come as a surprise to me. I was out to lunch and the brewery tour on Tuesday when my phone rang. That was when I got the call for Fox News Channel to go to Portland, ME and do the Carl Rove set up. On my way up there, as I was following the owner of the satelite company I was working with, he called me on my cell and said..."Hey, can you come to Gillete Stadium tomorrow?" So I was off anyway and took that job. It ended up being pretty cool. We did an in-studio PSA for Stroke & Heart Attack victims, followed by taping a children's football clinic that Teddy Bruschi was running. All in all that was very cool. I've worked at Gillete for the Patriots a ton of times so it was nothing new really. It was different though because of making the PSA instead of just working a football game.

So as a good surprise to me, I got 2 days of work this week when I had none planned. The down side is, since I worked so much I didn't make it on here until whaterver time last night (actually, early this morning).

Oh yeah, btw...the Carl Rove thing for Fox News was pretty cool too. He was very nice to work with. Sometimes people like that are not exactly that nice and they are escorted by all sorts of assistants and you get told, like a child, what to do, how to act, what to say, what not to say, who to ask questions to cause you can't talk directly to the "talent"...this was different. Carl showed up by himself and was VERY amicable to whatever we needed to do.

OK....and now, on to the end of the week. It seems like there's been a lot of good chatter in here in the past 2 days. Today it's going to be brutally humid outside so I am going to try to get my walking in ASAP....I have a ton of laundry to do as well, and need to get some house cleaning done. I was able to get quite a bit of "work style working out" in the past 2 days. And I've been able to keep up some healthy eating too. I'm hoping for a good weigh in tomorrow!!! Good luck to everybody else as well.

Keep On Rockin'

Talking Re: Rockstars 14 - Roll On, Rockstars....get Movin :)

hello buddies!!

i just did a three mile walk in the sweltering and smoky heat of central california and learned a valuable lesson: on a hot summer day, don't take a walk in a flower colored (bright red!) shirt and expect bees to ignore you, LOL!!! won't make that mistake again, i am TERRIFIED of bees. or rather old me was, i am working on it i don't want to be scared of spiders anymore, either. i am okay with being afraid of wasps, they're nasty buggers.

anyway you will never guess what i saw on my walk-- FOXES! a mom and two babies (kits?) so cute!!

alright, time for a shower and on with the rest of my day. i'll be back!

I'm hoping for a loss this week team! I have been super strict on my eating, have done my 1 hour of walking x 5 days and have even been riding my bike. So we'll see. Still having trouble with the water though.

I am planning on doing the challenges next week and just wanted to know if they were going to stay the same. Debbi's post inspired me and I want to get prepared now
