Your hair looks great girly...sorry your not feeling up to par though. Tooth aches can be the worst...yuck! Hope you feel better and way to go with the workouts.

How's it going ROCKSTARS? Just catching up on all the posts from yesterday and today. Sorry I missed everyone...hope all are doing well!

I had a great day today...went out with my best friend and my daughter. We went out to eat and than went back to her house and walked around her neighborhood for about 45min. We only stopped cause the mosquitos were horrible...yuck!

I didn't do as well as I thought I did this week...only 1lb lost! At least it wasnt a gain I keep telling myself...have to think positive!

Well I will talk to you all tomorrow...I'm heading off to bed...the little one will have me up early I'm sure. Good night to all!

hey rockstarz,
I gotta ? okay so I'm really wanting 2 lose weight but I got 2 thinkn since i'm not like obese n not really all that overweight all I really could do 2 look really good is just tightn up everywere. sorry, kinda bn rude 2 the guys but girls i'm pretty "blessed/healthy" when it comes 2 my chest area n so the more weight i lose the more i lose there so i'd b better off just buildn the musle more n lettn it burn whatever fat than instead of workn so much on weight loss at eatn certtain foods etc. like instead of tryn 2 just lose weight i try n build muscle n lose inches along w/ maybe some weight. but mainly look at inches n muscle building. (don't get me wrong i'm not wantn 2 get big n bulky) but i'm wondern how should i go bout dn this. should i go on a diet or just cut major fats. mayo,red meat,sweets etc? n then drink lots of water n workout alot alot more? ne help I'd luv. thx,

Hi Rockstars, I just realized that I haven't posted my progress for the week. I'm down 1 pound this week. I thought I maintained this week, so I'm happy about the pound.

As for meeting other goals, my diet was good for the most part, except on Thursday. I was feeling really stressed and ended up giving in to a mini binge. I tried to do some form of exercise each day, but I have to admit it was pretty mediocre! I'll try to do better this upcoming week.

Hope everyone is doing great and enjoy the rest of your weekends.

Roxi, just eat healthfully and exericise-that will work. I have to do different things then I did when I was your age-mostly because the way our bodies change over time. However, a healthy diet and exercise will always be the best way to go-no matter what your age is.

Unless you do major, major weights, you won't bulk-you just get leaner and longer muscles. I'm like you in that I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but I definitely need to get the weight that I have, back in shape. I haven't lost that much in weight lately, but I did lose inches, which is important to me-especially now that the warm weather is here-I can't hide my stressed tested jeans under big sweaters!!!!

Everything in moderation-like mayo. Use light mayo and make a thin film instead of a lot (like they do at some restaurants). Limit the amount of red meat you eat, and make sure to eat lean cuts. I'm not a big sweets fan, but like everything else, moderation. What I have found for myself and have read what other people have gone through, completely cutting out the stuff you really enjoy, only sets you up to fail because you end up bingeing on all of the stuff that you really enjoy!

Lots of fruits, veggies, lean meats, water & exercise, and you will do well.

Roxi...first of all, you're not being rude to the guys...no worries darlin'.

As for your desire to change from weight loss concentration to muscle building, I understand your reasoning. I too was thinking along similar lines, now that I've dropped 20 pounds. I mean...I'm ok if I loose a little more of my chest as it matters less LOL!!!

Suggestions I would have for you is keep doing what you're doing with trying to eat a bit more healthy, you're exactly right about cutting those fatty foods out. Then, like anything else, try to start slow and build you're way up. By that I mean maybe do 10 situps, 10 pushups, and 10 squats for the day. After about a week you will probably be ready to add on another 5 of each....as you contiune, before you know it you'll see your stomach tighten up, your legs get more tone, and your arms will get more tone as well. Of course, there is always weight lifting, but I wouldn't do too much of that. If you do, maybe get those small 2 pound hand weights and use them while walking or something. That's also something I'd keep doing is walking.

Good Morning Rockstars!!! and of course.... GOOD MORNING BLUE TEAM!!!! YOU GUYS ROCKED THIS WEEK!!!!

Well, I can't belive another week has gone by. My first week on the books as a team leader. I hope I did a good job, and will always be giving myself a goal of being a better team leader.

Now that my work has once again slowed down I will have a lot more time to be here online posting Booster Notes and reading blogs. I will also have some time to post blogs of my own. Although this week I racked up a big 0 in the weight loss department, I also didn't gain....in my book, not gaining is always a good thing. Actually, since I've begun my weight-loss journey, I have never gained a pound back. That is something I am very proud of myself for. I do have a lot of weeks where I don't loose, but somehow, I haven't gained.

I hope everybody has a great day. Renee' and I have a day of MAJOR spring cleaning. We are literally moving all of our furniture vaccuming behind the couches...washing the woodwork, I may even re-paint some places that need it. I'm sure I'll be on tonight and give everybody the updates. It should be really interesting to do with Salem in the house.

KEEP ON ROCKIN'!!!!
