Roxi, just eat healthfully and exericise-that will work. I have to do different things then I did when I was your age-mostly because the way our bodies change over time. However, a healthy diet and exercise will always be the best way to go-no matter what your age is.
Unless you do major, major weights, you won't bulk-you just get leaner and longer muscles. I'm like you in that I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but I definitely need to get the weight that I have, back in shape. I haven't lost that much in weight lately, but I did lose inches, which is important to me-especially now that the warm weather is here-I can't hide my stressed tested jeans under big sweaters!!!!
Everything in moderation-like mayo. Use light mayo and make a thin film instead of a lot (like they do at some restaurants). Limit the amount of red meat you eat, and make sure to eat lean cuts. I'm not a big sweets fan, but like everything else, moderation. What I have found for myself and have read what other people have gone through, completely cutting out the stuff you really enjoy, only sets you up to fail because you end up bingeing on all of the stuff that you really enjoy!
Lots of fruits, veggies, lean meats, water & exercise, and you will do well.
