Exclamation Re: Heartbreakers #17 We all walk the line between who we think we are and who we can be.

well well well..it sure is nice to see you can all survive without me...gosh i have been so extremely busy..that its not funny...i have a stress headache and all of my muscles are just tighter than im not sure what to insert here....i need a massage..and my hubby has left again...after working so hard to get this kitchen ready to go in tomorrow... we unloaded the slab and he cut it out and has been polishing all day...he can fabricate a kitchen himself in about 3 days... and he has learned how to use his body in very interesting ways to unload it...i should video it one day...because its crazy. okay..im boring you guys...rambling about work...

how is everyone? its very nice to have some of you back...i was wondering how you were doing..and where you had gone...!

i hear and see alot of motivation..and alot of positive attitudes...keep it up its contagious...and there are still a few (Bette Jo, Nathena, Jess, anybody else??) who needs to catch it!

Bette Jo you need to stop beating yourself up...and have some fun...sounds like you have had a very hard life...sounds like you arent very happy...i want you to find out why your not happy and fix it...if its something from the past let it go, if its something you cant change ...let it go, if its something at home...right now..find out why your not happy ....and how you can be happy...if you need help..girl ..i am here...we have all been through alot...but, we can still be happy and live a long and healthy life...we are all in this together. and the hubby not supporting you ...well, do this for you girl. you deserve it...and you have to do it for you...we will get through this! we will overcome!!

to my heartbreakers...your all amazingly wonderful people with a passion for life, a passion for love, and a passion for helping...keep up the great work...stay focused , stay active in the forum and in your daily life. i love you people!

make every ounce and moment count!

Here is something I just shared with Better Jo on her blog and I wanted to share it with all of you. (Maybe if any of the rest of you have some tips on how you stay motivated we can all share them?)

"I don’t have the temptations at home, but I do have them at work. Just yesterday they had a cake to celebrate the June birthdays and someone even said, “No wonder no one around here can ever lose weight.” Well, I went into our break room and the rest of the cake was sitting there and I just ate my Fat Free Yogurt. I think the fact that I didn’t eat the cake, even though it was so readily available, empowered me instead of making me feel like I was missing out.

Also I find that if I read a book about weight loss, exercise, or even just about a strong woman (or man as the case may be), it keeps me motivated." Hope this helps someone out there that might be having a hard time staying motivated.

Julie - I hope you are doing well and good luck to your husband on Friday.

Sandy - Your posts are great, you have a way with words.

April - Sounds like you are busy! But that's a good thing, less time to think about food and it's always good to stay active, no matter what it is you're doing.

Hope everyone is doing well and have a great rest of the week!

Erika, this is a good post. You're so right about the empowerment. I have felt that way every time I was strong in my commitment to good health, with exercise or restraint. But I never realized it was empowerment.... now that you have made me aware, I will try to remember and recapture that feeling next time I'm tempted. You have great insight. Thanks.

Hello everyone,
Since I'm off to the beach this evening, YIPEE!!!!

So, I'm weighing in today. I'm amazed to say that I'm down 2lbs for the week. WOOOHOOO!!!

I worked really hard this week for those 2lbs, now I'm hoping to stay on track through the weekend at the beach. I'll put in a couple extra long walks to help out.

Have a great reat of the week and weekend. I'll let you know how it went on Monday!

I'm weighing in early this week, as I have a day op tomorrow and don't know whether i'll be up for anything before Sunday. I've gained 2lbs. I'm not beating myself up as I know ive worked out for 4-5 days for the last couple of weeks. I am however hitting that point where, although ive lost weight the inches aren't shifting - ive just got to stay positive and work through this stage. This is normally my downfall and when I start sabotaging myself - but this time is different. This time I want to succeed.

Julie - I hope you're feeling 100% again soon

Annie - I'll be praying for your hubby through my sedation!

Hugs to the rest of you - I hope you have a good weekend. I'll hopefully be back over the weekend sometime.

Sorry I havent been on much. I simply do not have time. Right now because of some serious family issues I have my oldest brothers 3 kids and my niece so that makes 6 kids in the house ranging from 2 yrs old to 17 years old. Whew what a group!!

I will be on as much as I can be.
