welcome angelia and kassie!!!!!!!!!!!!!
today something weird happened. it's day 2 on the no s diet. and come lunch-time i was not hungry. so i didn't eat, i had a latte. then at dinner, i was hungry, but not ravenous like i would expect. so odd........... anyways, i don't like skipping meals but it was a kinda good feeling to not eat if i wasn't hungry- i fet a little more in tune with my body. so here is the day...def. an exception:
B-protien shake and bagel with a little pb&j
L- medium skinny, sf almond roca, latte
D- chicken burrito (this includes: chicken, rice, avocado, sour cream, and hot sauce)
water, tea, vitamins (might have a diet hot cocoa)
no cardio today (boo) had to run errands all over town. but i did get 30 min. strength training this a.m.
*anj- well, drinks are kinda a gray area. they are allowed as you please, but you have to be responsible. if you think you have a problem with liquid calories it's up to you to tweak your diet. they have a support forum and from what i'v read so far, some people drink milk to keep them going when hunger strikes between meals. many drink coffee daily. and some have even held onto their 2 glasses of wine/beer a day. they are doing so and still making progress so.... i'm still a little hesitant because drinks feel like snacks to me and this program is all about breaking habits.

Accountability for Thursday:
B: Eggbeaters scrambled w/ salsa, 2 pieces toast w/ light Laughing Cow cheese on top, tea w/ honey (this has become my all time favorite breakfast!!! Thank God for Laughing Cow cheese!!!! YummO!!)
L: Salad w/ Waldens calorie free bacon dressing (not too bad)
D: Small piece of homemade lasagna, 1-1/2 slices homemade garlic sourdough bread (I LOVE this recipe!)
S: 1-1/2 snack bars (oldest son didn't like his so I ate the rest of it )
E: Core workout, jumping on the tramp after dinner (lol that sounded dirty )

So, I think this will be my "official last weigh in" because yesterday morning and this morning, I weighed in at 114.5 lbs. I will not be trying to lose weight anymore. If some more comes off, then great, but I don't want to drop below 110 lbs. for any reason. I really don't want to hinder the team, and I may have someone to replace me, so we can keep our numbers up. I am going to stay on and cheer and stay accountable, I just won't be weighing in anymore. I need you guys!! I couldn't have done it without you! Maybe Molly can make a Cheerleader section on the roster page for Nicole and I. Well, I'm off to do the treadmill. Tonight will be my "off" night, because I'm throwing a party! Have a great one!

Where to start this morning? Well, we will take it in order I guess

First, WELCOME KASSIE AND ANGELIA!!!! Woohoo, two more kitties to purrrrrfect our lifestyles with!

Second, Kama, feel better! I don't have a blood sugar problem that I know of, but it sounds like it can be kinda scary! Don't push yourself too much and keep us updated on Mom's doctor appointment today.

Michael, that's kinda what I thought about the drinks as well. (Them being like snacks). I know when I get an iced coffee I count it as my "snack" for the day. But it sounds like it is working for you and that's the coolest part. Keep it up girlfriend!

Linsey, Can you come to my house and make my meals for me? Also I can't believe you are down to 114.5! Way to go!!!!!! I love your idea of a cheerleader section. As you couldn't do without us, there is no way I could do without you and Nicole. You are such an inspiration to me and I can't wait to look like you! And Nicole...I am having a really hard time remembering my vitamin without you hounding me!!!! LOL.

Betsy, last day before vacation! Are you counting down the hours? What did you think of Carmen?

Accountability for yesterday (warning...kinda scary)

Breakfast:
Tomato sandwich with light mayo on red cal whole wheat bread: 161

Lunch:
two soft tacos from Taco Bell: 513!

Supper:
Grilled chicken breast, 1/2 bun, steak fries: 464

Snacks:
(as if lunch and dinner weren't bad enough)
yogurt, apple, large ice cream cone, granola: 527

Total:
1665! Okay, I think TOM is knocking on my door. Or it could be that I'm so down from not being able to exercise this week, but those are all just excuses, I could have and should have done much better.

Water was good, vitamin was forgotten. Who is gonna hound me about that? LOL

Somehow I still ended up with a 1/2 pound loss again this week.

I was hoping that would get a response from you! LOL! I miss you! I did remember my vitamin today, but that's just because I was complaining about the fact that I keep forgetting it. Make you a deal, you hound me and I will hound you! Mommy and baby need to stay healthy too!

Hello everyone! thanks for all the welcomes. I hope I am doing this right, I've never posted in a forum. Anyway, I have a couple questions.

TWO days ago I did the Biggest Loser Cardio dvd(which is awesome by the way) but I think I pushed myself a bit too far. I'm still sore. But I hate just sitting around, so what can I do without..well, injuring myself? lol. I want to do the dvd again but I will wait till I'm no longer sore.

Another question. How do you all feel about those 100 calorie snack packs? I'm sure they must be loaded with sugar. I usually get the Lorna Doone cookie ones, or the cheeto ones. Just for a something small salty or sweet. I know you shouldn't just pay attention to calories though, so that's why I'm asking.

Here's what I ate yesterday, just so ya know:
B: egg beaters with two slices cut up turkey
L: two slices pizza(made with Heart Smart Bisquick, No Sugar Added sauce, and fat free mozz.
S: one banana
D: two chicken legs, a small baked potato, prob. about a cup of brocolli
Then, I did a bad thing. I ate another banana around 11pm I really ought to go to bed earlier so I can avoid getting hungry again before bed.

Well, sorry about the long post! but thanks again..

Woohoo! Kassie is posting in forums and posting accountability! Way to rock it girl!

Can't help you out with the DVD thing, Michael, Linsey, or Kama are pretty much the experts there.

The snack packs...well my feeling is this. Better to eat 100 calorie snack pack than 1,000 calorie family bag, right? It may not be the most healthy option for you, but I don't think one a day would hurt.

The banana before bed isn't gonna kill you. I used to be terrible at getting up in the middle of the night for a snack and they were NEVER the healthy kind. It's a tough habit to break, but one that shall be broken! LOL.
