Hehe-yeah I told my hubby it was for him...I have to do the work but he reaps the benefits! LOL Here are my goals for the week:

1-Be more postive, thank God every day for my multiple blessings
2- Exercise 6 days
3- Stay OP 6 days
4- Be at 208 on Friday's weigh in!

Yesterday we went canoeing and I am so sore this morning! I slept in and skipped my WATP this morning but I figured 5 hours in the river yesterday counted as 1 of my 6 days of workouts so I will be fine as far as that goes! It was fun though! Have a great week!

Stronger Every Day
Daily workouts too tough? Feel like your goal is out of reach? You might not know your own strength. Check out what one member has to say about an outstanding accomplishment and what it means to her:
"I ran my first marathon yesterday!! Slowly, not quite elegantly, but I did it. Four months of preparation, much time and energy invested, many, many miles of running. I did all of that during one of the busiest and most diffcult times in my life.
Today, my legs hurt. I still have problems at work, still have extra weight. But I have accomplished my goal, I am a marathoner. When life throws curveballs at me, when people around me have negative impacts on me (abuse me, attack me, disrespect me), instead of lowering my head, frustrated, and go home to build myself together, I'll tell myself, 'Get lost. I am a marathoner. I have already accomplished much more than you, and I am strong enough, physically and mentally, to have done the marathon, and certainly to do my job well, live my life the way I want. What you are doing is imposing me your low self-esteem, your insecurities, your frustrations. I do not have to take this. I won't let it affect me.'
I know it won't be that easy to get over my personal and professional issues. But, like the marathon, i'll take it one step at a time. Now, let's get that weight down! "

See? You can accomplish anything you set your mind to. If you're intimidated today, you're not going to lose weight tomorrow, so get moving! You won't regret it when you see the pounds come off.

Don't Sit Back
So you've mastered one level of exercise. Time to kick back and enjoy the ride, right? Think again. If you get too comfortable with one set of exercises, you'll stop losing weight. That's why it's important to know how you're feeling and to understand your comfort level with each exercise you try. If you're still feeling the burn from fairly simple exercises, stick with them until you don't anymore — then, whether you want to or not, it's time to move on.

Morning everybody!! Great goals! I have been sooo busy lately, but I promise to try to be here more. The main problem is that DH hasn't worked in a week, so if I am not doing stuff with him, then I am trying to get caught up on my chores. He is constantly bugging me to do things with him and it's driving me crazy!! I guess I should be thankful, but I have stuff I need to do too. I can't just jump in the truck and drive around all day. On an up side though, he is getting on a job today, so I can be a little less stressed. Only a little though, because today is going to be bad. The boys had all their toys taken away because they have done nothing but bicker and fight since school got out, and DH thought the fitting punishment would be to nail the toybox shut. Thanks, babe. I hope they are going to go to work with him, because bordom is going to make them worse. Personally I would have gone for the TV, but I didn't get asked my opinion. I only have to deal with them 24 hours a day, as opposed to his 4 or so. Anyway, I busted my butt yesterday and got my entire upstairs(which is more like a downstairs because my bedrooms are down, not up) cleaned. YAY. First time since school got out. Ahhhh, sigh of relief. I only got in 30min on the treadmill though and that was after dinner, since I cleaned all day. I wasn't going to do any exercise, but I made a homemade lasagna with a nice homemade crusty garlic sourdough round loaf of bread. I didn't have a lot of it. Actually, I used a tiny plate, the kind for your coffee cup, and did the portion thing, so I did well, but all those carbs after not being used to them were really weighing me down. Oh yeah, and I was so excited!!! I saw my cousin Sunday for the first time since Christmas and he said that I look like I did in highschool!!!! OMGosh that was great. I was smiling so hard my face hurt, lol. And another YAY ... I went onto "on demand" to find something to watch while walking, and a page came up saying that we have all kinds of new stuff there now and one of those new things was .... fitness on demand!!!!! Soooo happy!! And there are like 3 pages of workouts! I was blown away! I can do a different one every day! OMGosh, I am so excited, can't you tell? Well, I'm off to start the day, and get everybody outa bed. TTYL!
