Re: Diamonds 9
MY MOST SINCERE APOLOGIES TO THE GROUP FOR NOT HAVING WEIGHED IN.
We had out of town guests and I didn't even have time to WI. That being said, I came in here today and I am disappointed at how poorly we did. I may have just made myself the sacrificial lamb for saying that, but I am just wondering---WHERE DID WE GO WRONG?
We had a great loss last week and this week it seems as if everyone just let themselves go. I am not placing blame. I am simply making an observation and trying to come up with a solution.
I can tell you where I went wrong--and by the way, I maintained. No gain and no loss, which to me is a successful week. For starters, I didn't exercise and I didn't watch what I ate. Although I am doing better in the sense that I am not mindlessly snacking, I wasn't watching either my portions OR I wasn't making the best choices at every meal, as I should have.
I had a rough week last week, but as of today, I am no longer employed (by choice of course). This means I am out of excuses for not exercising and/or eating right. GRANTED, I do have a lot of lunch and dinner dates, BUT my mission for the week is to FINALLY get to ONEDERLAND....which was also my goal for last week.
In order to get to ONEDERLAND, I must lose more than 4 lbs. and to get there I will do the following:
I will exercise for at least 30 minutes every single day.
I will try to stay as close to SB as possible (with all the lunches and dinners we have planned before our big move, it becomes almost impossible to be on program 100% of the time, but I WILL do my absolute best). I will carefully study the menu and choose the best option. I know that I will have Chinese food this week and when this happens, I will exercise a bit more to offset the food, plus I will stick to ONE serving, in other words, NO SECONDS!
This is my plan and I am sticking to it. If everyone has any suggestions, please send them my way. ALSO please don't serve my head on a platter for pointing out that we did poorly this week and that we need to look inside ourselves to figure out where we went wrong and FIX it this week. May this past week serve us a time to learn and may this new week bring us an opportunity to move forward and onward to our GOALS!
