Congrats fellow Rockers!!!

I hung in with my 6 pounds down but no more loss. I'm totally OK with this. Awesome job team!! So, since I found out that my head didn't know how stressed out I was so my body started in on kicking my ass with pain.........I'm trying my very best to just let things go. I'm spending way more time playing and less time cleaning. Usually a clean house was my 1st priority. Today I took the kids outside, then to the park. House work got done in between this fun stuff. Guess what! I'm not all freaking stressed out! My goals for this week are.......................

DO NOT STRESS OUT OVER SMALL STUFF

be outside more than inside with the kids

Thursday I'm getting my SI nerve burnt but before that stay very active

drink more water

remember to take care of myself so everyone else isn't miserable!!

planning my 5 miles tonight at 8-10 pm

hopefully not too many people there - no way I can do the 12 miles that I am supposed to do to make up for yesterday, but I will keep on going with the 5 mile rule :P

And now...and update from your local kitten hospital....

It's where I've spent the past 3 hours of my day. I just got home. Sooooo, now we have to give Salem a pill every day, which we have to give to him with a long surynge and put it in his throaght...obviously, tomorrow's post will be telling you about how he bit me!!! HAHAHA

The good news is since we got home this little guy is CHOWING his food like a good little boy. That's the good news, the bad news is even though he's been eating, he's still lost weight. He is now 1 pound 3 ounces!!!! YIKES.
The Doctor feels that there may be something viral (hence, the pills), and is trying this out. At this point, they did blood work today and gave him some more IV fluids to perk him up a bit. Also, he was quite dehydrated so they wanted to get fluids in him...especially since today was 95 degrees in our neighborhood....YUCK again!!! She did some blood work and we'll have the results of that tomorrow. Hopefully we'll have some more answers. What is troubling her the most is the fact that he's eating but still LOSING weight. We are hoping to get some clarity on what that's all about too.

As always, I'll keep you all posted. I feel terrible that I have not been to one blog this week and not kept up on everybody else and what is going on with you all. I am sorry, I feel like I am being a one way friend. I think I'll add the goal of reading blogs more this week to my daily goals list.

Thanks again for letting me vent here. I appreciate you all....you're the best, each and every one of you in your own special way has touched me and will forever be in my heart for that.

hahahaha....thanks, I needed that! I don't feel left out from conversation, just from PMS, which, I do suppose is a good thing. At least my wife leads me to believe I'm the lucky one, all I have to do is "deal with her" as she says, when she is the one who has to "have the damn PMS" hahahaha

It's all worth it though I guess one day when you get to have the kid....so until then I will just bitch about it LOL

Well, the roller coaster ride with Salem contiunes. Tonight, although he ate a fabulous dinner. He is not feeling well. You know how you can just tell...plain and simple. My wife and I were out for about an hour to eat dinner and when we got home he was acting very sleepy. We had my nephew with us cause he wanted to see the kittie...He petted him for a while, gave him some kisses and just seeing Salem's non-typical reaction I knew something was up. I took my nephew home and let Renee' (my wife) stay with the kitten....he has tried to go to the bathroom outside of his litter box again, and is still so groggy. We are really afraid as to what's going to happen. Almost to the point that we paged the vet on the overnight pager number, but we are going to give him another hour or so to see how he is. I just have such a bad feeling that when we take him to the vet again, things will not go so well.
