HEY ROCKSTARS!! Did we kick booty last week, or what? It was a crazy week for everyone and yet look at our loss! I am so proud of everyone!!!

Jinni- I'll be thinking about you at your new job today. It will get easier each day, and Josh is right- the cutie will be a-waitin' for ya
Lara and Stacey, I move to rename you Walk-stars!! I may have to re-evaluate my workouts and add in a lot more walking, it seems to be key
Josh- glad to hear Salem's eating again. And this is me impressed at your maintenance in such a ridiculously crazy week for you.
Holly- Thanks for sharing those are GREAT ideas!
Tuesday- We all feel your pain about the pics, and Holly is correct you are in GREAT hands here for support and encouragement.
Roxi- Training is done! WOOHOO!! Pretty soon you'll be slinging hash with the best of 'em


My goals this week:
Hydrate, all my water EVERY day
Keep moving, maintain the workouts, add some more- perhaps walking??
Watch carefully everything I eat. I had a rough weekend and am trying not to beat myself up for some of the food choices I made, just moving forward.
Re-read the book on emotional eating, this time take notes (it belongs to the library )

Thanks for all the encouragement! I weighed this morning and I'm very happy that I didn't GAIN so I'm still at 250. I plan to change that this week!!! I'm super excited and can't wait to show myself (and everone else) how much I appreciate my body by actually taking care of it!

hey rockstarz,
just check n n 2 say i just finished my workouts n 30 minute walk. as lil as i work out I still have 2 push myself 2 do it. I almost didn't this morning. I know bad me...lol but I finally did it. So, lets bring on the day..oh yea!

Holly you are the sweetest. Thanks for your comments and concern about Salem. I appreciate it. I try to make my comments as personal as I can, because it seems to be that everybody here shares a great deal of their lives with one another. I know in the 11 weeks I've been around I have found everybody here to be great with advice, or just being a sounding board for some venting.

Heather thank you also for your comments. I appreicate your concern on Salem and the fact that you were "impressed" with me. I just look at it as me being me...you know, walking while at work since the opportunity presented itself. As far as the maintaining, it was probably because half the week I was so worried about the little guy I didn't feed myself properly either, and with stress, I think maybe that helped not to gain. That and all the physical work I was doing all week.

And now....it's Josh's Weekly Goals Time

1. Get Salem all better 100%, I mean eating when and how he should, playing like he should, going to the littler box like he should, no matter what it takes.

2. Get back to a regular daily walking schedule that managed to slip away on me last week.

3. Water, Water, Water...partly because it's almost 100 degrees today, but mostly because I need more of it.

4. REALLY concentrate on healthy eating, I didn't do enough of it last week because of my little guy and all of his troubles, but I don't want to create my own troubles in addition to his.


Alrighty, those seem pretty reasonalbe. The most important to me though is Goal 1...I really want my little guy to be 100% like he deserves to be. At least now, he is not starving himself...that is a step in the right direction.

Good Morning Winning ROCKSTARS!! I love you all - Our total ended up being 45 pounds - our highest ever. We had very few no shows and we still have 4 spots left on the team. That is VERY impressive.

I am having a hard two days (Sunday and Monday AM) I am so dang tired from my weekend. I had a party Saturday for Sex and the City and we spent all day preparing, had some friends over, went to the movie and went out dancing until 3 AM. I did walk my 5 miles that day, and I was proud.

Yesterday with the 3 AM thing, I ended up going back to bed, though I was supposed to be up and at my brothers at 515 to leave to move my mom and dad. I couldn't. I was delirious. I hadn't drank, and I was just plain tired. So I woke up around 9 and waited until 10 to leave...drove two hours....helped move some and was home by 730....I should have exercised, but I was down for the count at 830 ish. I took a sleep med and slept for the next 12 hours plus!

So no official exercise and I keep eating. Now the worst thing you can do if you are dieting is eat poorly. You can ingest way more calories than you can possibly exrecise away. That is where I am headed if I do not get under control today. I also am pms ing hard core. Becuase of stress, I skipped last month and I went off of my pills cause I can't afford right now, so my body is rebelling - (my straight hair is becoming wavy and all kinds of fun things) so I am having PMS from hell. I am lucky I have no cash, or drive thrus would be a problem. No I am getting fat on healthy food!

My plan for the day is to go to my work meeting and walk my five miles for the walking challenge...

Lara- good calories is a HUGE step over bad food calories just remember what all that walking did for you the last few weeks. you can shake this !!

I was there 2 weeks ago Lara!! Stress mess!! We're here to pick you up and dust you off if ya slip!! You're a Rock Star though so you'll get through it with out any major gains!! PMS should be illegal!!! UGH...........................
