Pushing Back
Confronting someone you love isn't always easy. Sometimes people will hear you and be able to change their behavior, but often their behavior has more to do with their own need for approval than with your need for support. No matter what the response, you need to be firm and hold your ground. At the end of the day, your health is your responsibility. Some relationships may not remain intact during big life transitions, but you will form healthier ones that reflect your new lifestyle.

LMAO I am so paranoid about this too!! I told my sister(she lives in Myrtle Beach) that the *very first thing* we are doing is going to the grocery so that I can buy "my" foods. I refuse to gain weight just because I am on vacation. And I am going to do at least a 30 min. run/walk on the beach every morning. You watch. I swear I will. At least I hope I will, lol. I hope I can keep up this positive attitude or else I may just end up veg-ing out every day and binge-ing on chips and candy ...

*gasp* I don't think vegging out will happen Linsey. You have worked so hard to come so far and I could be wrong, but I think that you will consiously think about each chip or piece of candy going into your mouth as a big NO NO and be able to stop without doing any damage

Today so far:
E- 5 mile WATP
B- 1 pop tart, cereal- 8pts

Got on the scale this morning and I have lost about 1/2 pound so far this week- so I'm really pushing to get the other 1/2 off by Friday!! I have 1 month and 1 day to get 10 pounds off before vacation- the cool thing is my mom finally hit the 20 pound mark, and I got her using the WATP videos, so she said she will workout w/me on vacation- which is awesome. This way, I'll come back the same weight instead of 5 pounds heavier!!
That's great Betsy! See above post about lingering off plan that I wrote to Linsey...the same goes for you!

Hi Everyone,

I ended the day yesterday with 1620 calories, so I'm pretty happy!
I went to the gym this morning and did 20 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of upper body weight training.
Here's where I am today with my food intake-
b- 400 (had a glass of o.j. for 110 calories....totally not worth it)
s- 160
Brought my lunch again and will do the same fish/veggies for dinner. It was delicious!
I'll keep checking in, thanks for the support!

I want to live in Myrtle Beach! We're going to Gatlinburg this year. Last November we went to FL for Thanksgiving to see my parents, and I brought my WATP w/me- I only did it 3 days out of 7, but I didn't overeat (even though I let myself have some of anything I wanted; my mom is the best cook!) but I came back and didn't gain an ounce! I was so excited-so I'm really pushing myself to be good again this time! And you can do it- you've come so far and I just can't see you binging at this point after all you've accomplished!! You can do it!!

Hey Cats,
I posted a blog today about starting a kickboxing class. Anyone have any feedback?

Wow! I have really been MIA... I have been so busy with school ending soon, work, and just not really wanting to do anything else.
I have begun the Eat-Clean Diet (I just HATE when they label a book "DIET"). It focuses on eating more natural foods, with the least amount of processing and sugars. It's incredibly fibrous, so much so I have trouble eating the next meal. I also feel like it keeps my blood sugar very even... something I was really looking for but low-carb was just too drastic. I dropped 4 pounds overnight, I'm sure mostly water. But, I hit 150, and I haven't been this light in a year and a half... feels good!!
So.... I'm not counting calories, just focusing on what I'm eating, and portion control.

Yesterday, Monday

B: Oatmeal w/berries, 2 egg whites
S: whey protein shake made with a banana, FF milk, flaxseed & oatmeal
L: tuna, spinach salad w/shredded carrot, diced tomato, raspberry vinegrette
S: pear and handful of almonds
D: Low cal frozen dinner

Got my water in and worked out with Jillian, Woo Hoo!
