Hi all,
My goals for the week are as follows:

Stay in my points
Water
walk at least 3-4 days this week
stay stress free
Support my buddies!
Don't gain anything (my Memorial Day challenge ends this week and I don't want to gain because then I won't have lost my 5 pounds!)



I am also trying to decide if I will create another challenge after the Memorial Day one ends. I like the idea of having that challenge there to be a helping push! Maybe I will....

I don't know if I mentioned this, but I do have a doctor's appointment tomorrow afternoon. I have been having some trouble with my arms going numb and getting all tingly. I wanted to get a check up to make sure that nothing else is wrong. I think it might be my medication being too strong now that I lost so much.
I am anxious to see what the doctor has to say about my weight loss. I haven't been there since I started loosing. This isn't the doctor though that told me I couldn't do this on my own. This is the nice doctor, but he was willing to sign the papers if I had chosen to do the surgery. Which I have decided to not do, seeing that I am doing so good on my own right now. I'll let you all know how I make out tomorrow night when I get home.
On a side note, I was thinking of not even going to work tomorrow. I am still not feeling that great today. I did manage to get a walk in but that is about as far as it went. I haven't done much but sit or lay on the couch correcting papers and reading my book. Not sure if I really want to go to work tomorrow or not. It is a short week this week as I have off on Friday and the following Monday for Memorial day.
Well I better get going and make my hubby dinner. Talk to you all soon!

Hi Gang My goals this week are~

water!
bike with Gumbo dog
no night time snacking
concentrate on getting ready for my mission trip on June 5th
yes I know getting ready isn't really a weight loss goal but I do really need to get on it!

So, I lost 4 lbs last week, without even trying. The only things I did were worry about something going on in my personal life and a 1 hour Salsa lesson, which by the way, left me smiling for like 2 days--its so fun.

So this week I am going to try to keep those 4lbs gone and maybe lose a couple more. I have my first Tai Chi class tonight, and I will either walk in the park or go to the gym. That will be three workouts.

My Goals:
3 Workouts this week
Get back to drinking the water
Get back to the fruits and vegetables.
Cathy, you can get rid of those two lbs. Yes, you CAN!!!! Go! Go! Go!

Julie, hope your doctor apt is a good one....let us know. I hope you feel better today. Tres, you just keep it up. I was taking Tai Chi last year, but had to quit, there just weren't enough hours in the day. Tai Chi was on the same days as water aerobics and I had to pick one or the other. I felt so graceful and strong at that class! Have fun, let us know how you like it. Good luck to you Cathy, I know you can do it. If not this week, next week, for sure. Remember, there's no rush. The mental aspect of losing weight is so funny. Last week all my shirts were feeling a little tight. On saturday I weigh 5 pounds less and all of a sudden it just feels like they are all less tight. I just don't think I lost all those inches in just one week. Still I feel better and well I feel better.

My goals are
1) eat around 2000 calories a day
2) Do some cardio
3) Walk over the weekend
4) Celebrate life!!!

I know I am not the homework guy, however I would like to suggest something. That for one week, everytime you look in a mirror and say, "I love you" and "you are beautiful".

You all are beautiful. Unless you are a man, then you are handsome
