Morning team! Sandy Thank you for your post about Princess. I love to hear stories about how the Holy Spirit works through strangers. I especially love the part where Princess got all excited on your street! Goosebump city! Welcome Lori I know you will love the heartbreakers. Like others have recommended I think we all should look at Chrisie's Christmas Challenge. What a super idea. My goal is 140 but I think I will change it to 139 so I can fit in to the "9" theme. Accountability partner wise I agree with some that it might be better just to have one at a time. I like the idea of switching up every now and then (maybe have one partner for a month then switch) so we can all get to know each other better like April said. Rachel I'm glad you and your hubby are getting some quality alone time together and that it was his idea. Have fun!

Rachel, have fun on your "date", you too Nicole. April, I think you are a little cupid....just look how your homework inspires romance...... You have my husband asking every week...."what's the assignment this week????" lol Glad to see so many of you in the New Years challenge! I think it's fun to have a challenge that encourages all slimbuddies, regardless of team affiliations, to come together and get to know each other a little better. We might just pick up a few new Heartbreakers when they see how much fun we all have together. note to all: if I get too bossy, just let me know. It will only hurt my feelings for a minute, then I'll get over it. (sometimes I get a little over-enthusiastic)
I agree with you. One on one and we pick our own.

Hello everyone! I'm glad everyone is participating again. I had a number of pages to read to catch as well.

Since I am going away for the weekend I weighed in today. The news is amazing, I'm down 4lbs this week.

I'm actually 1lb from my 10lb goal for Memorial Day. I'm going to weigh myself on Monday to see if I make it. I will keep you guys informed. Plus I got a green strar for 25lbs lost.

Thanks for all the support and encouragement. I hope everyone have a great holiday weekend.

I can't believe it!!! I went shopping today at the local thrift store. I figured I need some "new" clothes, and why keep paying a fortune for them when I will need new ones again soon.
Well Anyways.... I am wondering and looking for pants to buy, and well I decided to try on a 18W.......and they FIT!!!!!!! I fit in an 18W jeans!!!!! I am so in shock right now! They are even actually a little loose in the waist. I am so happy and excited right now! I had to share my accomplishment with my friends!I am washing the pants as I type this and will wear them later!!! Yeah me!!! I am now down 5 sizes in jeans from when I started in January!!!

5 sizes since January! Wow, great job Julie!! Also, good idea to shop at second hand stores since they won't be in your closet for long. Before you know it you will be in your goal size You are an inspiration for sure

Julie, I am amazed! That is so terrific. I think the second hand store is a real good idea. We can all drop off our too big clothes and pick up some smaller ones at the same time! I have been really good about getting rid of the ones that don't fit any more. I was having a hard time with that. You know, keeping the 'clown pants' (that's what John calls them) to work around the house? Then one day he said, why look like that around the house? You'll feel better in something smaller and cute! lol (I think he meant he was tired of looking at the 'clown pants'. Anyway, now whenever I take off a pair that are getting ridiculous I put them in the special Goodwill bag I keep in the store room. I guess keeping the big ones was sort of like insurance in case I put the weight back on. NOT HAPPENING! Well, see y'all later. "149 in 2009!"
