Re: ROCKSTAR 8 - Two Months on Tour!
Well, I am home for the day. Actually got home about 2 hours ago. I am a little tired from all the work over the weekend.
I forget if I mentioned or not, but the Boston Cannons Lacrosse team now plays at Harvard Stadium. It's that National Historic building where the Harvard University Football team plays. The problem with it being a National Site is they don't want to "change the integrity of the originality of the building." Which to me, as a TV guy having to work there means.....no elevators!!! From the bottom to the top (where we have to carry A TON of gear) there is 122 steps...actually, the argument could be made for 132 steps. Now picutre putting 50 pounds of junk in your hands and taking 6 or 7 trips up (then at the end of the night down) that same set of steps. Yeah, so my Saturday was one giant stair master from which my legs are still sore.
Sunday was alright...the longest part of my day was at the end, when I had to be in the Cleveland Cavs locker room doing post game interviews. 35 + pound camera on my shoulder for about 45 minutes straight. Crammed in the mass of reporters, other camera guys, and general mayhem that was going on, and my arms are a bit sore now too.
BUT....today was easy as I expected. Unfortunately, I didn't make it on the treadmill this morning, but I am getting my hour in tonight. Tomorrow I have a 7:30am baby doctors appointment for one more test on me and I'll be heading home to the treadmill for a day of 2 hours again (one in the morning one at night).
OK.....now, although I'm a day late, let's see what my weekly goals should be.
1. More water...I slacked a bit over the weekend, still got a lot in me, but I need to up my water intake daily
2. Rollerblade at least twice (weather premitting) for at least 1.5 miles each time. I need to ease back into it.
3. More blogs, writing them, reading them, commenting on them & more booster notes!
Alrighty, that does it for me at the moment. I will be back later I'm sure.
Keep on Rockin'
