Green tea is a great choice, it has all those antioxidants in it that helps clean up the free radicals that do cell damage, so yeah, drink it! Weight loss creates lots of free radicals, but lots of things do, even regular metabolism! Even with caffiene in it, it's a better option than lots of coffee. I'm not one to say you shouldn't have caffeine at all, but if you are overdoing it, it can really retard your weight loss efforts.

I think it's better to drink caffeinated products rather than the decaf unless you really have to cut down on the caf for a medical reason. The chemicals they use to decaf are worse in my opinion than the caf. Herbal teas are naturally decaf so they are a good choice if you don't want it. As long as you are using reasonable amounts of coffee or tea I wouldn't worry about it too much if you are consuming at least 8/8oz waters.

Hellooooo! Jeffrey, Amy & Julie - welcome to the weird and wonderful world of the Rebel Rockstars.
I had to do a double take when I read Cassies's entry about cutting down on coffee/drinking more water as I'd already decided that was going to be MY goal for the week! I love caffeine laden black coffee with sweetener (yikes) which I know isn't good for me - not the amount I drink - but it beats knocking back the beers then having an attack of the munchies!
Have some green tea in the cupboard somewhere - probably hiding behind the ever-present coffee - so will dig that out and give it a whirl... cheers for that Holly.
Rock on dudes!!

Seriously??? Welcome to the team Jeffrey...looks like we already have some sports rivals here. See what happens ladies, when you let more than 1 guy in the club, they then get to talk basketball and stuff....haha. Just Kiddin'

Look on the bright side Jeffrey, at least the Pistons will win games 3, 4, & 6 because we all know the Celtics have forgotten how to win on the road!

Well, I am home for the day. Actually got home about 2 hours ago. I am a little tired from all the work over the weekend.

I forget if I mentioned or not, but the Boston Cannons Lacrosse team now plays at Harvard Stadium. It's that National Historic building where the Harvard University Football team plays. The problem with it being a National Site is they don't want to "change the integrity of the originality of the building." Which to me, as a TV guy having to work there means.....no elevators!!! From the bottom to the top (where we have to carry A TON of gear) there is 122 steps...actually, the argument could be made for 132 steps. Now picutre putting 50 pounds of junk in your hands and taking 6 or 7 trips up (then at the end of the night down) that same set of steps. Yeah, so my Saturday was one giant stair master from which my legs are still sore.

Sunday was alright...the longest part of my day was at the end, when I had to be in the Cleveland Cavs locker room doing post game interviews. 35 + pound camera on my shoulder for about 45 minutes straight. Crammed in the mass of reporters, other camera guys, and general mayhem that was going on, and my arms are a bit sore now too.

BUT....today was easy as I expected. Unfortunately, I didn't make it on the treadmill this morning, but I am getting my hour in tonight. Tomorrow I have a 7:30am baby doctors appointment for one more test on me and I'll be heading home to the treadmill for a day of 2 hours again (one in the morning one at night).

OK.....now, although I'm a day late, let's see what my weekly goals should be.

1. More water...I slacked a bit over the weekend, still got a lot in me, but I need to up my water intake daily

2. Rollerblade at least twice (weather premitting) for at least 1.5 miles each time. I need to ease back into it.

3. More blogs, writing them, reading them, commenting on them & more booster notes!

Alrighty, that does it for me at the moment. I will be back later I'm sure.

Keep on Rockin'

Yep Seriously Plus lets not forget the Pistons were the only team in the NBA to win a road game in the last round.....well there is still a chance for another road team to win tonight, but still i hope they steal one in boston.
