Good morning Fanatics!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was sweltering hot here in Orange County, CA. On Sunday morning at 10am, it was 102 degrees.

I hate, hate having chips and junk food at home. I can't help myself. I snacked on Funyans on Ruffle potatoe chips all weekend, very little water, less then what I drink during work days and very little fruit.

On Saturday I did make it to my workout of stregth and yoga but that was about it. We spent the whole day running errands.

On Sunday it was too hot to do anything. We had to postponed our Venice Beach trip because we ended babysitting my sister's kids. We stayed by the poolside, swam, ate and slept the whole day.

I did go to Costco and bought fresh fruits and vegetables for the work week. I just wish my family would eat up the rest of the chips so I'm not tempted to eat tonight.

I didn't get enough sleep so I did not go to the gym this morning. My goal is to get to my afternoon Kickboxing and Yoga class, go home and eat dinner. Then around 9pm I'll swim a bit to get myself back in workout mode.

My goal for the week:
Be a good buddy to Christine
Get enough sleep, more then 6 hours
Drink more water
Stop eating chips
Be a better girlfriend, daughter and sister

Sounds like a busy weekend! We all have mishaps. My weekend wasn't so good on the snacking front either. We will make up for it right? I wish I had a pool... I love swimming. I go to water aerobics and the local pool. It would be so much better if I could just go to the backyard LOL! Hope you have a great day Nancy!

I don't envy you guys with the heat. We are at a nice 60 degrees. Maybe in the next few days we will hit 70 or even close to 80. The nights are still in the 50's. No air needed, no heat needed, just perfect weather for having the windows open. We barely ever hit 102 I think I would freak out if we got that hot.

On friday, I get in the car... attempt to start the air conditioner and all I get is hot air. boo. So I do the 4X 60 thing all the way home. Saturday, I get in my truck, same thing... att to start the air, and I don't even get HOT air, I get NOTHING I say. Double boo and I am about to lose my mind. So then Kenzie and I attempt to have a garage sale... pretty much no one came. It sucked. So then Saturday night I lost my cell phone. I spent an hour calling it and walking around the house, sitting in the cars...etc looking for it. So at that point I had decided screw the diet, I need a drink. So then yesterday I went to get a new phone, and the previous company I was with wouldn't let me because I was 3 weeks away from the point where I could get a discounted phone.... THREE WEEKS! Oh AND I just had to pay full price for a phone 2 months ago. The customer service people didn't care. They wouldn't budge... for three weeks. Well I can't live without a phone... hello????? Again I said screw my diet.... So I went and got a new phone.... and $319 dollars later... here I am. I did TERRIBLE Sat night/sunday... and somehow gained three pounds in less than 24 hours and How am I supposed to get that off plus three more?!?!?!?!? I am kind of freaking out right about now... Oh and I haven't even gotten the mechanics quotes yet Sucky weekend! Hope you all had a better one than me!

Have a great day everyone. I am trying, believe it or not!

$10 says you are retaining water and you will pee at least a pound, if not two, off in the next day or so. There's no way you are 10,500 more calories than you burned this weekend, right? Drink lots and lots of water. Don't freak out!!!!
I also had a rough weekend. WW is going to be ugly today, but I am going anyway. I need to see that number so that it scares me.
Deep breath. Cell phone companies suck. No a/c sucks worse. But you are strong!

Sounds like we had lots of ooops this week-end. As for me we went out to a buffet on saturday. I did pretty well execpt that I had a roll and 2 peices of corn bread . I also ate a piece of carrot cake. It was very tiny.
So I know that those things are not diety but geesh now the scale is up 2.5 pounds. I did really really good the rest of the week-end. I mean is it fair to gain 2.5 pounds?? Some body please tell me its water or salt or something that will be gone in a few days.

we are having pretty nice weather. nights are cool and the days are around 80, and with a nice breeze. I know this summer it is not going to be like that. I am from holland and it never really gets hot ever, so it's hard to get used to.... We had a great b-day party for my hubbie, to much food and too much diet pepsi.(KFC and some great hotwings and a dubble layerd chocolate fudge cake. and it is still sitting in the fridge grrr I asked if my mother in law could take it to work with her, but she didn't...oh boy this going to be such a hard week. I need to step it up some this week, i want to lose those 2 pounds, and even more if i could. That meeans, lots of walking, do the challenges, water water water and eating better. talk to you guys later

I hope you do okay at WW, the number might scare you, but it also helps motivate. That's why I weigh everyday.... but only the saturday weight counts for me! Good luck tonight, we can do it!

I agree, sometimes it seems i am obsessed with that scale, but now i do it and if it gets to high during the week, i know i am doing something wrong and i can correct it before the weekend. Used to i was going day by day with the weighing, but now i focus on saturday only.
