Ok... So check this out... I mentioned about that baby shower here at work for a co-worker and her BF, right.... Anyway.. I go into the break room that we share with the policy call center (we are claims) and there is all this food. Baby was hungry, so I got a plate and put a little bit of food on it. Well on my way out, I dropped my fork. I went back over to the table and a girl walks in and says "do you think we can abstain from the food.. This is for Diane's last day with us, and she hasn't even seen the food yet." Real snooty like. I apologized to her and said that I thought the food was for the baby shower. She says "well it isn't". I wasn't the only one who had taken some food.

An email comes around from her a few minutes later announcing to the whole call center not to eat their food.

I go down to the baby shower later on, come back up and grabbed a drumstick, and 3 lil' smokies in sauce. Ate that and came back to my desk. Now there's been an email from our sup saying that they are having a 'private' potluck/party, and can we not crash it! I was flabbergasted! None of us in our claims area could understand what was going on! If it was sooo 'private' why didn't they tell us ahead of time, so that we knew not to crash it?

So we're all kinda annoyed at this point about all this, right? The next thing we know, we get an email from someone else on the policy team "hey there's tons of food left, help yourself!" we just started laughing! I mean after all that!! Can you imagine!?!? I told the girl who had the shower, she should send an email saying "thanks, but stay away from my left-over cake!" How stupid is all of it?

Ok, I need to post my accountability:
I'm not gonna go back over all the time I missed, but I know I stayed op, drank my water, and took my vitamins and did my workouts.
Today: Oatmeal and 4 prunes
S: 10 pretzel braids
L: Veggie sandwich and a cookie
S: apple and another cookie
D: Tuna with diet mayo and a tomato and 1 slice whole grain bread.
Yeah, I know the cookies put me over, my total was 1380 before the cookies.
All I can say is it was stress relief, and I would have done way worse in the past. But I had to come clean with you all.
I did my Jillian Michaels workout and will do L1-4 and my floor work tonite, too.
Took my vitamins today and drank 64 oz of water.

If you were at 123 last week and now at 120, then you had a 3 pound loss!

Accountability for Friday:
B: eggbeaters (2), toast (2), kiwi, tea w/ honey
L: My soup, turkey sandwich w/ cheese, onion, and tomato
D: my soup, salad, toast (2)
S:South Beach protien bar (wow these really do help curb cravings with all that protien!!!), 100 calorie cheese it pack w/ one wedge laughing cow cheese spread on them (YUM)
Total:1191 Exercise was 60 min. on the treadmill, and floor work.
Wow you guys were right about the laughing cow cheese!!! Its great!! I wish my store had more than just the regular and light swiss flavors. I would really like to try the french onion.
Also, I got the Nivea good-bye cellulite gel-cream. It was $11, but if it works, it will be worth it. It says noticeably firmer skin in 2 weeks and noticeably deminished cellulite in 4 weeks, ao I'll let you guys know how it works. It also came with a tiny workout video (tiny as in a small disk) I looked at it a little bit, and it looks pretty good. She targets your thighs, butt, and abbs (my problem areas) and its really high energy. She switches to hand weights at one point, then a mat. I didn't watch the whole thing, but I think I might start it on Monday. I really need to work on muscle tone now, as I haven't been doing any streanth training except crunches and some pushups. Maybe I'll start doing that video and cut my cardio back to 30 min. alternating running and walking.
I'm hoping to start tanning this week. I have heard that will help with firming skin too. Does anybody know if tanning makes stretch marks less noticable? Mine are light in color (as opposed to red, or dark). I could wear a bikini if I didn't have those damn thing. My mom just gave me a Kenneth Cole ( )suit and I really want to wear it.
Well I need to get around, and get the kids ready for a baseball game. Have a great weekend!!
~Linsey
