WOW..good going Dawn..I am pooped....took my niece to the park and I just got home! took the pooch out for a walk...so now I am going to just sit here a minute and try to decide what needs to be done next

Sometimes I wish that I had a dog to take for walks. I hate walking by myself. All my friends power walk. Not me. Maybe in awhile.Let me get used to my elliptical.

awe, jenn, so sorry that hurts so much!!! i know it's hard to stay on track when your exercise gets taken away. i'll try and throw you some upper body and food stuff in the challenges to remind you of what you can do . for now, rest, and feel better soon and ice, ice, baby!

you can come walk my dog! actually, when i first got him i called him my personal trainer. and, i was slow walking with my friends, too, but i used to have walk and hike dates with friends and it got me really moving!

good job on the water! and on the eats!

nice work on the water jayne, zina, tanis, dawn, lyssa - did i get you all? i finished mine and stayed away from junk today pretty well - did have a bubble tea this morning.

let's start tomorrow's challenge with this:

EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST - something that will give you the energy and sustenance for the day. As we all have heard, a good b-fast is one of the best ways to lose weight. just don't go overboard on the pancakes, bacon, eggs, etc

I find that if I eat just cereal then I am really hungry early in the day but if i eat something like oatmeal, a veggie sausage in english muffin, or something a little more substantial (eggs, pnut butter toast, cereal plus protein smoothie- homemade) then the day is much easier energy and hunger wise. i always start the day with a big glass of water - (16 oz) today). it took awhile to get into that habit, but now i feel weird without it.

how about you? what do you like for breakfast?

Deb, True story about the girls at my work. They all go for walks at lunch and I went with them and I was determined to keep up with them cuz you know how mean people can be. sooo..... lunch time came and I went for a walk with super walkers and ...are you ready for this?......I rubbed holes in my pants, yep the thieghs.That wasn't the worst of it.....I had two huge sores on my legs, I couldn't even walk for a few days without pain. True story.
So now I go at my own pace.LOL

I have a hard time with breakfast.I drink alot of coffee in the morning and if I do have breakfast I go down on my first break ,around 10 and have a pack of instant oatmeal.I love the dates, raison, and walnuts flavor.
